Elephant a sign of wealth, privilege and power.
Owners of elephants are given a chance for a religious procession and are believed to have been servants of the God.
My Ma's got a real affinity with this girl,.so this one is to show her she is safe and sound and sleeping in her box!
I'm convinced that with the trend over the last ten years or so in repainting school contract vehicles to emulate American Yellow School Buses, the likes of B&Q and Wickes probably stock a shade of paint called "Safe Yellow" which is bought by bus companies in large quantities. I jest.
Harris Coaches of Fleur-de-Lys has adopted such an all-over yellow livery for five of these stylish Plaxton Verde-bodied Volvo B10Bs that are used on school contracts. New to City of Oxford in dual-door configuration, they have been converted to single-door and upseated to 62 in 'three plus two' configuration. Single examples of similar vehicles that originated with Oxford can also be found in the fleets of Stagecoach in South Wales and Edwards of Llantwit Fardre.
Demonstrating her neat conversion, 17 (N613 FJO) was captured at the Gelligroes roundabout when undertaking an afternoon run in June 2011.

Well, when walking along this pathway you are nice and safe however, if you were around the play area, to the left, you wouldn't be so safe when Storm Ophelia came through earlier in the week!
The little playground is still flooded!

When going downstairs on high heels it has become second nature for me to lift my skirt a bit. This allows me to see my feet better and place them safely on the steps, and ensures that I don't inadvertently step on or trip over my skirt when it's a bit longer. As a bonus it often allows for an improved leg, stocking, upskirt or high heel display. It's practical, a lovely feminine gesture and often nicely sensual too.
f you've lost your way
I will keep you safe
Well open up all your world inside
So you come alive tonight
I will keep you safe
Well I will keep you safe
I will keep you safe

The sun is going down
You'll be alright
No one can hurt you now
Come morning light
You and I'll be safe & sound..."

Great Wall was established in 1984 and is China's largest maker of SUVs and pick-ups, selling over a million SUVs each year in the local market, today mostly under the Haval-flag, the Great Wall-badge is now only used for the pick-up Wingle and small sedans (Voleex C30, C50), which will be phased out soon. In 1998 Great Wall already reached top position in the Chinese pick-up market.
Great Wall has been infamous for copying lots of models from manufacturers like Toyota (Deer, Sail, Feelfine Concept, Phenom/Voleex C10/C20R, Florid/Haval M4, Cowry/Voleex C80, Coolbear/Haval M2), Isuzu (Sailor, Sing, Pegasus, Hover/Haval H3, Wingle), Honda (Voleex C50), Nissan (Voleex C70, never saw the daylight though) and Fiat (Peri/Haval M1). Great Wall's earliest models include the Deer, Sail, Sailor, Sing and Pegasus. The former two were copies of the Toyota Hilux and 4Runner, while the latter three were all based on the old 1988 Isuzu TF/Faster/Rodeo platform. Great Wall sales really took of after Isuzu Axiom-clone Hover was launched.

The mountain scene in the inset shows that the Marvin Safe Company devoted as much effort to decorating the inside of the safe as the outside.
This history of the Marvin Safe Company's facility in New York City indicates that the company had merged with Herring Safe and Lock and Hall Safe and Lock by 1895. I suppose if this safe had been made after 1895, it would carry the name Herring-Hall-Marvin Safe Co. (Diebold acquired Herring-Hall-Marvin in 1959.) Marvin's uber-substantial safes strained early elevators--click through to read about the perils of delivering safes. When the last user of a building such as this one clears out, they take the contents but leave the safe.

It's a practice of negative film cross processing simulation. Green high light achieved, what I'm not satisfied is red ehance effects on skins as a real film does. I think it requires photoshop, out of lightroom ability.
I had a great photographic day with many photos that could have made the cut for the 365. The bad news is it makes it difficult to choose. I went for something a little different as this caught my eye at our friends river front house.

This is the pilot boat going out of the East London harbour to guide a ship safely in. This is a treacherous coast and many ships have run aground, the last one only 2 years ago and before that , not far from what you are looking at, about 35 years ago. A most unpromising photograph improved vastly by the wonderful texture by skeletal mess here:

Caught on one of the rare occasions when she wasn't smiling or filling the site with the sound of her inimitable laughs and shrieks. She was intelligent, artistic, practically minded and Stefans partner. A fine art graduate trained in plumbing she was just as comfortable with a wrench in her hand as she was with a pencil or brush.
