SWT Class 158 No.158882 passes the foot crossing at Creech St Michael,with the 13:18 Bristol Temple Meads to Exeter St Davids working,on a very wet 2nd of May 2016.

Just a bee, but such a welcome sight. There don't seem to be anything like as many around so far this year. I saw this one at Woods Mill nature reserve.

SWT class 158 leaving Penzance on 13.50 to Waterloo. This is one of the 2 car units exchanged a few months ago for SWT's class 170s

450060 stands at the Up platform at Wareham.

This was a wow moment. These are really different and I thought it would be easy to ID but I'm not really sure which one. The ones in the foreground are new. Found on open heathland that has been burnt in the past. Possibly M. megaspora

444014 departs Upwey working 1W57, the 0805 London Waterloo to Weymouth service.

Two species that are not entirely welcome ina beautiful old oak wood, althouigh the fresh nw beech leaves look good againsy the dark background of western hemlock.
