These are some of the orphans who are being raised at the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust's Nairobi Nursery. The nursery is where the orphaned baby elephants are initially brought to be raised among other orphans as well as by their amazing keepers. They remain in the nursery until they are old enough and ready to move up to one of the Reintegration units where they will eventually return to the wild. The SWT has a wonderful foster program where you can "adopt" an orphan (or two) www.sheldrickwildlifetrust.org/
Much easier to hear rather than see. Brief glimpse as it flew passed, but then sat on tree really of of range of my equipment.

Still very very cold up here on the east coast. Few Damsels flying, those which are visible are staying put on the vegetation.
