I took this photograph at the Silverstone Classic meeting in July 2010. This car's a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB, chassis 2563GT, and was driven by Lukas Hüni and Gary Pearson in the RAC Tourist Trophy race at this meeting. The 250 GT SWB was introduced by Ferrari at the Paris Motor Show in 1959 and has the 2,953cc V12 engine that powers all the Ferrari 250 models.
The Ferrari 250SWB first seen at paris auto show in1959,Ferrari only built the SWB from 1959-1962,it must be one of the most sought-after and collectable Ferrari besides the 250GTO. Production numbers claimed at 165 units.
Im September 1978 fand auf dem Betriebshof Friesdorf ein Tag der offenen Tür statt. Der Betriebshof Friesdorf wurde 1892 als Teil der Straßenbahn Bonn-Bad Godesberg-Mehlem in Betrieb genommen. Er liegt zwischen den Haltestellen Max-Löbner-Straße und Hochkreuz. Bis zur Eröffnung des Betriebshofs in Dransdorf waren hier Schienenfahrzeuge stationier – heute die gesamte Busflotte der SWB Bus und Bahn. Die Zufahrt aus Richtung Godesberger Allee wurde mittlerweile zugebaut.
