Um den Bau der Baundesstraße 42 zu ermöglichen, gab es im März 1981 Schienenersatzverkehr im Teilbereichen der damaligen Linie H. Züge aus Bad Honnef endeten in Oberdollendorf. Von dort ging es mit dem Schienenersatzverkehr nach Ramersdorf weiter.

The Nene Valley Railway's gate guardian, SWB (SJ) Class A2 (A) 4-6-0 No.101A, is seen on display between Wansford yard and the station car park on January 21st 2023.
Der Triebwagen 8454 war gerade von der Düwag abgeliefert worden und präsentierte sich noch ohne Beschriftung. Er gehört auch heute (Jahr 2023) zum Bestand der SWB Bonn.
