Summer has arrived to Madrid. It was 41 degrees today so it's time for outdoors lunch at my parents house again. My mother cooks incredible croquetas (croquettes) and I was so happy to see them (and her... of course :-)) today. Two flavours today.... spanish ham and blood sausage (sounds disgusting, tastes delicious). I tried to capture the spirit of these summer lunches, the sun, the homemade dishes, the blue and white tablecloth... A tradition in my family.

My geriatric grand pup, a 12 year old Boston Terrier, spends most of the day in his cot in front of the fireplace. He’s deaf now and sleeps through whatever commotion is happening around him.

20 April update: yes, there are there!! two pages
It appears that Sunday Sport (a British Sunday paper) used my photos from Cardiff two weeks ago (April 5, 2009) in their newspaper without my knowledge. There probably was a double page spread titled "A night out in Cardiff" with images like mine.
Could anybody confirm that please? Can anybody get hold of a copy of this paper from that day?

On Sunday December 4th, 2013 the Fall 2013 Semester run-track participated in their culminating half marathon. With a start time of 5:30am the stars were out and a crecent moon guided them into Deep Creek Settlement, their halfway point of the run. As the Sun rose and students, teachers, and other staff ran back to campus they were met with a perfect rainbow to welcome them home! Congratulations run-track! You're now part of The Island School half marathon club!
