Could it be that the Lord had already returned, and had appeared to do work elsewhere? … As Tao Wei urgently sought answers to these questions, she longed more and more to attain the supply of the living water of life from God. She and her brothers and sisters sought out God's work

and appearance together, and finally came to the Church of Almighty God, where they began to communicate and debate with the preachers of the Church of Almighty God. … Will they be able to find the source of the living water of life at the Church of Almighty God? Will they be able to attain the water of life from the river that flows from the throne?

What's GoH you ask? it's Guilds of HIstorica one of the first Build-RPGs hosted on Eurobricks. A little known fact, I was actually heavily involved with the creation of GoH and was put in charge of developing the storyline and style of "Kaliphlin" guild (to this day, I still don't know why they didn't get a more castely person).

So when I saw Isaac (who was part of the slightly less cool Mitgardia) asked for a micro castle. and Jeff asked for me to build a super cool Kaliphlin - I though it'd be cheeky to combine the two...

... Much like how Isaac and Jeff combined their efforts to build their largest collabroation, the city of Katoren. I built the micro version of their collab.

„Hand out your weapons!“ a guard grimly shouted, as Jon was about to enter Omar’s Tavern. It wasn’t really a building, just a few stairs down to a sign in sordid condition above a small, wodden door fitting the sign. As he was allowed to enter even more stairs led down.

As Jon reached the so called tavern hall, he had to breathe heavily. There was a gloomy, noisy atmosphere and smoke from several hookah’s floated under the ceiling. Oriental carpets adorned the walls. As Jon sneaked through the tavern a man, dressed in white, pompous foulards called for him: „Young man, be my guest! Have a drink with me.“

Option 1: „Uhm..uhm, why not, Sir.“ Jon answered modest, „I’m kind of thirsty, I have to admit.“

Option 2: „Ahm, Sir...I need to“, Jon desperatly searched for an answer, „I need to meet Mustafa at his store, my apologies!“

2018 turned out to be an unusually active Hurricane season. Hurricane Hannah was soon followed by Hurricane Jocelyn in a few short weeks. Asphyxiation Point was simply unable to cope with two consecutive storms.

Most residents evacuated well before the second storm hit. A few stubborn ones remained but were also forced to evacuate when it became obvious that for once... no corner of town would be safe when Hurricane Jocelyn hit.

As it turned out, the only ship close enough to respond to the last minute SOS was a Cartel ship running shipments to the Asphyxiation Point Underground. The smugglers did respond & the stragglers were safely evacuated.

However, the smugglers couldn't just let the residents go once the true purpose of the ship became known to said residents. And so the once proud residents of Asphyxiation Point were carted off to the crime-ridden cartel home base of Los Banos. There they try to eke out a living & hopefully try to make their way back home. But without any money, passports & the like, this is proving to be rather hard.

OOC : Please note that the Los Banos story arc is being driven by Asphyxiation Point residents who wished to continue their storylines while maintaining their existing characters / relationships. The founders & creators of Asphyxiation Point are in no way affiliated with Los Banos

OK, OK - I give up!! but this is absolutely the last grassy one for a while now because even I'm getting bored with them, and yes there will be more of the Faerelves it's just I've needed to take time out to construct some kind of meaningful storyline. Thanks for your encouragement though...am overwhelmed by the response here! :-) This is another one taken on my belly with my chin practically on the ground - the grass is about 6 inches high at the most.

7417: Temple of Mount Everest

The last main set of the Himalayan chapter of the Orient Expedition. This needed a massive update.

The design was based on the architecture of the Tiger's Nest Monastery located in Bhutan (further east of Everest). With usage of some very unique Lego colours (light brown and very light grey) to add to the build.

I sketched up a concept first, trying to gain a sense of the temple design in my mind's eye.

The interior is a lot more detailed than the original. With a few special additions. On the first floor sits an updated design of the old totem from the original. I came up with this strange concept that the totem holds a compass that is actually pointing to the location of the sword. Above that is a small artefacts room, with mysterious objects and curio found or given to the temple for safe keeping. Above that is a small shrine area and a small bell tower.

I wasn't entirely sure what to add to the smaller tower, but the statue is significant. It basically hints at what the Adventurers will need to do with the golden objects once they reach China.

And of course below lies the chamber where the sword is kept. The gryffindor sword was the ideal candidate for the golden sword.

Sam Sinister's biplane is a tweaked and recoloured version of my bi wing baron design (I kind of like to keep a bit of continuity in the Adventurers storyline).

The only merged part in this set is the strings for the prayer flags. Were this physical they would be thicker Lego ropes and tied to the points.

A Knight of Teraxis, and a member of the Noble House of Light. Maybe be a distant ancestor of Lucem.

A MOC co-developed with Commander Spencer as part of the cancelled storyline known only as SALVATION. Notable as the third, and probably final, evolution of a torso design involving Onua's shoulder armor.

This is the MOC in its second phase, with more armored forearms. After these pics I added a bit more forearm armor, and you may get of that version in future.

What I like about shooting in the city is that I always seem to capture a scene within a scene. My target was the beer delivery truck. Later, while looking at the photo I noticed that I'd caught two people, unaware of each other, going about their business.

My attention was initially drawn to the delivery guy who is mindfully doing his job. And then there's the woman running toward the bank like her hair is on fire -- probably frantic to get some money deposited before recent expenditures overdraw her checking account.

Strangers passing in the night. It wouldn't take much tweaking to create a storyline that could become one of the great chick flicks of all time -- steady beer truck delivery guy meets artistic fly-by-the-seat-of-her-pants city girl -- think Ben Stiller and Jennifer Aniston. Or maybe thats already been done. Meanwhile, I have a hankering for a beer.

STORY: Troopers Cizer and Rev approached the dimly lit building, their helmets shining in dark of the night. Intel from locals reported their target, former Senator Alam Sorio, was hiding out in this building. Sorio had denounced the empire almost as soon as it was formed, styling himself a "republic loyalist." Fearing arrest for his opinions, he quit the senate and hired strike units to carry out hits on high ranking imperials. Cizer's unit was instructed to find Sorio's hideout, and if they got the chance, kill him. A light was turned on inside the building. Indistinct chatter could be heard from outside. Cizer and Rev sent their position back to their squad, quickened their pace towards the entrance, and drew their blasters.

Some of us may be just a line in Daniel's book, some of us - a page or even a chapter, some might give his storyline a while new meaning, and some might never even appear in it. Imagine that a single line can twist a person's fate and change the ending of their book because yes, every story has an ending. But we can share and contribute in order to add more pages or even chapters to Daniel's.

Our dear friend Daniel Estro, 29 years old, (co-owner of Zerkalo, Shiny Shabby and The Crossroads) has cancer and desperately needs our help. The fight for his life began when doctors discovered a malignant tumor in his brain, about 7 centimeters in diameter. Daniel underwent life-threatening surgery to remove the tumor. The surgery went well. However, several weeks later what was left of the tumor spread throughout his brain and started affecting his brain function.. He is currently undergoing chemotherapy as well as radiotherapy. He is fighting as hard as he can to survive but as many of you might know, fighting cancer is very expensive. We have been trying our absolute best to help them financially and we still are. But we need your help. We are doing everything humanly possible and it’s just not enough. We need your help.

Please help us save him. If you find the kindness in your heart to help, you will be saving not one life but two. His RL/SL wife, Anais, is 28 years old and Daniel is all she has. Zerkalo was their only source of income and Anais is unable to work without Daniel because he was the brand’s designer and mesh creator. They are so young and in love. They are two pieces of one whole, they give meaning to each other's stories, and one cannot exist without the other. Please help us support these wonderful people in every way that we can. They could have their whole lives ahead of them, and it’s up to us whether they do or not. I was thinking to start small futuristic/modern storyline,i came up with this figure,Helmet is painted. ;)

Before venturing down the coast, I was playing this incredible video game called unravel. I was not only inspired by the incredible visual aspect of it all, but the storyline and the main character. It’s set within the most beautiful world and the main character is tiny... so the viewpoint of everyday objects/landscapes looks very different. It’s amazing how incredible our beautiful environment can look if you just look a little closer 💚

After watching Avengers 4, I have been pretty interested in the original storyline written by Jim Starlin. I really like the idea that Thanos is trying to impress Lady Death, and I wish they would have incorporated that into the movie. I haven’t read the book myself, but I have seen a youtube summary of the story and I was inspired to make the main characters. Thor turned out especially good in my opinion. I will probably make some more infinity war inspired stuff, so stay tuned.

God, I need that sentence to be true! Ben was definitely right to step away, but it would be so great to have him come back for Flashpoint to bookend the role.

To me, this is the only storyline in which a recast is justifiable. Hoping this works out.

Tartakovsky's Clone Wars is very, very good to say the least. One of the most memorable storylines IMO is the story of Anakin and Obi-Wan on Nelvaan. This story includes Anakin goign through a trial that includes striking blue tattoos, which is pretty well represented by this new torso from Spider in Avatar 2. The Na'vi themselves work pretty well for the native Nelvaanians as well! If you're a Star Wars fan haven't seen this show yet, go check it out!

Here's the missing picture from Kai/Geneva's storyline.

Not many of you guys may know this, but I've been an extremely adamant fan of Adventure Time since season one so many years ago! So to hear Lego was finally entering the Land of Ooo, I was so freaking excited!

Now most of my admiration really goes to Pendleton Ward and his team of writers and artists. The mere fact that Adventure Time really has no filter on where it's stories can go, while always making the content work within an established storyline is incredible! Like it uses throw-away lines and scenes to constantly hint at incredibly large, emotionally deep elements of story, while never quite having an episode dedicated to exposition of the world Finn and Jake live in. I mean like over the course of like four or five years we only get pieces of that, like an episode of Marceline and Ice King's past, which 90% of the episode is wrapped around their band practice, but simultaneously touching on the topic of Alzheimer's Disease and a Nuclear Apocalypse.... In a kids show! I could go on for hours on how many tough topics this show tackles but I won't for the sake of time, but damn, it handles it's content so well!

But this isn't the only episode like this! Funny enough, having a final message or moral isn't always the show's standard. Some episodes never have dialog, some never feature main characters at all, some episodes don't even use the same art style! And that blows me away, that a show can be so diverse and yet still work within the confines of this fantastic world building that Pendalton has done. It's a great way to tell stories because not a single episode is the same. Yet the team at Frederator Studios always manage to tie everything together. They practically re-invented what a kids show could be! That really hasn't been done since BTAS.

But on top of it being so diverse, the humor and fun surrounding the show is wonderful! Adventure Time brings so much joy and positive emotions that not a lot of shows do for me. It makes me feel like a kid, and the Adventure Time universe is just like the weird shit I thought of when I was little :P

It's cool to see this show explode to the popularity that it is today, but it still holds a personal connection to me, and I'll always hold these stories close to my heart.

Here's to these last few years of Adventure Time! I know I'm gonna miss this show when it's gone!

In order to ensure his family’s financial future after his death, Walter begins to produce and distribute meth with one of his former students as he tries to survive the complicated and corrupt world of crime.

What’s not to love about this series? A compelling and dramatic storyline, deep and layered characters, along with gorgeous visuals and cinematography to top it all off. Although it's not perfect, I think this has every right to be considered as one of the best television series of the past decades.

At last I have reached the beloved city of Fagimburg. Upon entering the city, I immediately went to the house of a family friend. Unfortunately, he wasn't at home. Luckily, the doorman stated that he was out strolling in the forest just outside the city limits with his daughter. I thanked him and my company and I headed out to the forest.

Thankfully, it did not take us long to find them.

"Greetings Sir Walsingham, and Miss Elianora!"

"Artagnan! How good it is to see you once again! How are you?"

After that short greeting and discussions of various topics such as economy, politics, etc, we moved on to more pressing topics.

"Sir Walsingham, I'm sure you've heard the rumors of the terraforming that is approaching. I was considering staying off the winds for a while. Do you know of any good places for me and my crew to stay?"

"Hmm... I have heard the rumors. Indeed, just yesterday, a fierce wind blew a ship off its course. The saddest thing is that it never reached its destination. The winds do seem to be getting stranger each day. It may very well culminate in a terraforming. As for a place..."

"Pardon me for interrupting, but you said the ship wasn't found?" I feel that an adventure is brewing...

"No... I said it never reached its destination. It was blown off course, and is believed to have been plundered by pirates from Onshū, according to the sole survivor."

"Interesting... What kind of ship was it?"

"It was actually a Vermilion merchant ship, the Reynold. It was blown off course somewhere between Ballinicor and Glyndelac.... Between Ballinicor and Glyndelac huh? That's only a week's journey from here to the site.

"Artagnan..."

"What?" Man.. he guessed it

"I see the spark in your eye. I take it you won't be needing a place to stay quite yet?"

"You are quite right Sir Walsingham. This is the kind of stuff my crew and I live for.

"Just be warned! The winds are getting a bit strange as you said, and the Onshū pirates are some of the fiercest...."

Silence.

I turn towards my crew.

"Well, what do you guys think?"

Another moment of silence.

"You said it yourself Artagnan. This is what we live for." Thank you Johannes.

"Well, Sir Walsingham, I think that settles it. I hope to see you within the next month or so, perhaps with a small present."

"I just hope and pray you and your crew will come back in one piece...."

Some more awkward silence.

"What am I saying, I'm sorry, I know you've been doing this your whole life. Just, as a family friend, I pray all goes well, and that we will indeed see each other once again. Godspeed to you, Artagnan, and your crew!"

"Thank you Sir Walsingham, and a good day to you and to you, Miss Elianora!"

Whew..... I don't know why this particular day, going after pirates seemed more difficult for me to do. My whole life I have been on the high winds battling pirates. Yet, this time, it seemed as though I was making a mistake.... Perhaps it's the thought of that terraforming continually looming like an ominous black cloud in the back of my mind......

Greetings all! I hope you enjoyed the story, since it took me an hour to write... :P This build is actually the completed build of this creation. I never got around to finishing that one, so I rebuilt the middle, finished off the rockwork, and put it into this Isles of Aura storyline. Interesting things are happening, so stay tuned!

Years ago while doing research for a boring university project I stumbled across old archives for the Glamorgan Gazette from the pre-Great War 1900s.

A story entitled ‘Tea Party Misadventure’ caught my eye.

It was of interest mostly because my mum likes to put on elaborate dress-up tea parties of her own doing in our almost one-hectare backyard garden at home.

There was not much to this old story really, only reporting that at a certain fancy Tea held at the manor house recently the hostess and several guests reported jewels had turned up missing. I was suspiciously under the impression that they were wearing said jewels at the time, for no mention of them being nicked from rooms was made.

This piqued my curiosity because, due I’m sure to some quirk in my DNA, I get perilous shivers thinking some uncommon thief could be that skilled, he/she could undetected, nick the very jewels I’m wearing. Would love to know if I’m unique in that feeling.

That said ….

No mention of an investigation, the cause, or any outcome was given. Nor could I find a follow-up story.

I hate it when I cannot find answers to stories. And this one certainly piqued my rather offbeat interest over how something like that could occur.

Then, much more recently, I had been out with Ginny to see the movie “Cruella.” She had “commandeered” her older Brother’s twin 8-year-old daughters for the occasion.

The movie basically sets up how Cruella became a thief, starting out with these tendencies as a young child.

I will admit that as we sat drinking at the pub afterward later that same evening (after seeing the giggling twin girls off back to thief mum) my mind pictured some of my own Mum’s past fancy tea parties.

I soon combined third memories with that long ago newspaper story of ‘misadventure at a similar function.

Certain scenes of that movie clicked in my alcohol-induced mind as to how the ladies at the fancy tea may have lost their jewellery.

Soon I came up with the seeds of the fictional story below using bits of those tea parties and my ideas on how dropping in a resourceful thief amongst the dressed-up guests' midst them could play out the unanswered questions in the Glamorgan Gazette’s missing jewellery storyline. Sort of filling in the gaps.

The descriptions of that tea described below are taken from years of tea parties Mum has hosted. The details are accurate including the settings, clothing, and jewels worn by the hostess(Mum) and her guests, including Ginny and I at various times.

The character studies of Estella, the wooden bead lady, and the Shannons are also loosely based on past tea party guests.

I guess any posh affair of that sort if carried on for enough years will have its odd occurrences and occasional uninvited guests. Which we have…

And of course, the story as told is a work of fiction.

No actual robbery-related misadventures have ever occurred at one of my Mum’s teas. They were always known to be sensible affairs.

I need to say that because mum still popularly puts them on, and I don't wish to scare anyone off. They are such fun.

The story below may seem far-fetched, but is it really? For something indeed quite odd had happened at that tea in Glamorgan to warrant a reporter’s story?

A Brief Characterization

Like her Mum before her(my Gamma), mine liked to hold these once a fortnight dress up “High” tea affairs with her friends. Held either inside the sunroom, or larger parties carried out in the backyard gardens during warmer months.

The invited were pretty much just ladies our mum knew, which was extensive. But during the summer months, these friends were more than welcome to also invite along daughters, relatives, and such.

They all would certainly get in the mood and have fun with the ongoing theme of a posh tea, trying to outdo one another in the dress-up department.

Elegant evening attire mixed in with cocktail dresses, silk and satin blouses with formal long skirts, and even the occasional repurposed wedding or bridesmaid gowns were the unwritten attire required to attend.

Copious displays of pearls and rhinestones were displayed with added panache. And many a real gemstone was snuck in to show its glitter and gleam off.

It was like they were expecting a member of the royal family to attend, Mum’s affair had grown to be simply that posh.

Tea (and stronger drink) was served and by the time the soirée died down by twilight, our yard(or house) contained a very happily cheerful lot. A laughing and huggy group of well-dressed, inebriated ladies.

A pickpockets dream, I always fancifully told myself as I watched it all play out many times.

This time it was no different, with soon giggling ladies, whom it became very apparent on the day of this tale, would have presented easy marks for the tomfoolery of someone without convictions (As the Culture Club song goes)!

Thalia had a fight with her best friend and got humiliated. She was crying in the bathroom for the rest of the day. When she got home, her parents started yelling at her. She covered her ears and ran into her pigsty of a room. Her eyes are bloodshot from crying and sleep deprivation.
