Inspired by a horror novel in my other language, that i read many years ago. It stayed with me, the storyline, very insidious and sinister tale of an alien take-over of the human race. Bodysnatchers type story. I think it's so memorable because it was set in my country.

Exploring around this alien landscape was so exciting all in a group with headlamps walking with poles tapping in single file, hoodoos glowing left then right as each passes, a soft glow bringing to mind the astronauts walking on the moon or explorers on a arctic quest. When I was watching the group I remembered this movie from back in the 80's called Altered States. In the movie William Hurt seeks out a native culture known to posses a drug allowing one to remember back through the human genetic code, then regress physically. There was a scene after he takes the drug and drops into a deep hallucinogenic state, the visuals were ok for the 80's but the storyline in quite engaging and this scene reminded me of that.
Give it a try sometime,

As I sat and watched the clouds pass, I caught this slight opening showing just a few stars and opened the shutter.

The best thing I can say about Meow Wolf is that it is an immersive experience with a storyline...an art gallery constructed around a missing family with worlds inside worlds. You think you are entering an old house preserved as it was when they disappeared but they you journey to other lands like this through refrigerators and washing machines. I had always wanted to go and wasn't disappointed:

The stairway consists of 63 steps and 2,500 glyphs forming the longest known text of the Mayan civilization, is quite impressive. Unfortunately, it is also part of a tragic storyline.
At the time this was built, 753 A.D., the city was losing prestige, and the stairway was not built as soundly as other structures. Eventually the stairway collapsed, and only a few rows were found in original position. At some point in time, I've read both the early 1900's and in the 1940's, the stairs were reassembled. Unfortunately, the stairs were reassembled in a random order!!

'I was on a beautiful sim only to receive an IM from Twain. I'd heard he was a total asshole. His first words to me were: 'Hi Blondie !' I was disgusted ! Luckily, his agent, Craig Rogalski, www.imdb.com/name/nm8226307/bio/ quickly sent me a personal IM and smoothed things over. We agreed on a one week shoot on my sim. I wouldn't have to interact with Twain at all !
The rest of the movie crew was very professional ! As for the movie itself. It seems to have been well directed. I enjoyed the plot and the homey storyline.

'I saw Arol's sim buried on a profile and I wanted to have a look. When I got there I was amazed at how beautiful and large it actually is ! So I approached Arol in the most polite way ... I, um , .. well ? Maybe not. She allowed my film crew a week to do the entire shoot. I chose Conrad L. Hall: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conrad_Hall : to be my cinematographer. Conrad has worked on films such as American Beauty and Cool Hand Luke .. he's brilliant !! It is true, this is not one of my standard films that feature a lot of derendering, dark, mysterious, atmospheric, depressing, nor a lack of storyline. As they say in the industry, I wanted to 'break an eye' and I did ! It may not do as well at the box office, .. but it is my film and I'm proud as punch ! P.S. If you are into movies like The Conjuring, Prey For The Devil is a 'fun' movie to watch. It had a good storyline which I truly appreciate for any movie genre. The jump scares are real xD and the hair rising anxiety build up suspense sweet music!

The interrelated lines and compositional blocks caught my attention. The storyline was the drawbridge to interject interest.
The Tees Transporter Bridge has been the area's landmark since opening in 1911. It is the longest working transporter bridge in the world and an iconic symbol of Teesside's engineering and industrial heritage.

The once verdant cornfields around here, the few that remain anyway, have withered into parched leaves and bone-dry stalks. They emanate eerie rustling sounds in response to even the slightest breeze. This is my favorite time of the growing season, even though it's the end phase. The visuals are simultaneously creepy and amazing. Yet I feel an odd sense of anxiety every time I hear a harvesting combine rumbling past the house. I always wonder if they are heading to one of the cornfields that I photograph. I have this completely unhinged sense of ownership for the fields I visit. The same feelings often develop around abandoned houses that I explore. For me it's a recurrent storyline that never ends well. Sooner or later I return to find only emptiness. The harvest is now over, but the emotion and even terror that played out here for me these past months lingers.

Today, we wanted to try something a little bit different and came across this very cool contest with a different concept brought by Natacha !
We tried our best to translate into a picture her story that spoke dearly to us and hope you guys will love the result as much as we loved working on it ;)
Here is the part that inspired the picture:
The taxi stopped in front of her house, he had picked her up earlier and his car was there. She invited him in to dry off and offered to light a fire while she made tea. She took off her shoes on her way to the kitchen, leaving them lying around. She returned with hot tea, and the crackling of wood could be heard under the fire in the fireplace.
She sat down next to him, both of them smiling at the good evening they have had. At one point their eyes met and they couldn't take their eyes off each other, they were hypnotized, they were entangled in each other's souls. Her feet were so cold she put them under her thighs, and moved closer to him. He wanted to say something but she stopped him by putting her index finger delicately on his lips, it was an intense moment despite the simplicity of it. That started the special sparkle…

The Day Most Desired For Him
After that wonderful day they spent together, this time he invited her to his house for another joyful evening. He wished to spend more time with her. During these two years, Covid-19 had turned their lives upside down, stole their happiness and lives. He sadly remembered.
Today he planned everything impatiently; bought a bouquet of her favorite flowers from the florist and additionally her favorite red wine and French cheeses. "Louis Latour Château Corton Grancey" This pinot noir is a textural masterpiece with mouthwatering acidity and grippy cedar-like tannins. Brie, Emmental de Savoie, and Chablis.
Finally it was 7pm! That beautiful woman rang the bell just in time and waited at the door, he opened the door with a smile and then took her in his arms and kissed her softly.
"Tonight must be beautiful", he thought because he needed her as much as air and water.

As a result, she resisted and rejected Almighty God’s gospel in the last days many times…. However, an unexpected experience made her see the true face of the pastor, and thus she had some discernment of him and her heart began to awaken. Just at that time, Almighty God’s gospel in the last days came upon her. This broke her imaginations and notions about God’s work and gave her a brand new knowledge of salvation and full salvation. And then she accepted Almighty God’s gospel in the last days without hesitation. However, the pastor didn’t stop disturbing her, and this caused her great distress. Under the watering of Almighty God’s word, she saw clearly the ugly face of the pastor and his deceptive tricks. She awakened resolutely….

I keep meaning to return to my main storyline, but then I keep getting sidetracked playing with my avatars and finding new little nooks and crannies of cool sims.... Not sure if anyone cares one way or the other anyway, as long as the pics are cool, right? Anyway, this one was taken in Lost Unicorn.
I just finished Metro Last Light, and I was inspired by Collin McLaren and his storylines so I'm going to be making a few customs/purist figures just for fun! Also I just got a Minifig cat order with multiple gas masks!
