I’ve always loved the film Local Hero, it has all the right ingredients for me. My love of Scotland, the gentle storyline, the dry quaint comedy, the magic moments and Mark Knopfler’s music (until the Mags hijacked the signature tune). So while staying in Glenfinnan when a local told me they filmed some of it on the beaches up passed Arisaig I needed no other excuse than to take a drive up there and have a look around. With Carla and the dogs stuck in the car as she didn’t like the look of big bulls in the adjacent field I had a little wander round this little bay with its view’s across to Eigg, Rum and Skye. A bit too bright for the photography I like, I still took a few snaps. Just before leaving I saw this old cobble now left to decay on the grass. It’s days of work and adventure now over it sit’s quietly weathering surrounded by such beauty. The first part I can relate to and I wish for the second.
Skyrim... it is a huge world to explore, lots to see and do, with great graphic design and storyline. And you can do your own thing... :)
From the Throne Flows the Water of Life (2) - Why Is There Such Widespread Desolation in the Religious World?
www.holyspiritspeaks.org/videos/movie-water-of-life-2/
Introduction
he entire religious world is currently going through a serious famine, they are no longer together with the Holy Spirit's work or the Lord's presence, they are doing more and more evil things, and the faith and compassion of believers are weakening and growing cold. Furthermore, disasters are getting more and more serious all over the world, the prophecies that the Lord would return in the last days have already come true. So, how can we solve the root cause of the churches’ desolation in a way that allows those who truly believe in God, who thirst for the appearance of God to once again come before God and walk down the path of salvation? This short video will explore with you how to solve this problem of the churches' desolation.
Storyline:
Tao Wei was a preacher from a house church. As her church grew more and more desolate day after day, her followers all became inactive and weak-spirited, and her own spirit grew dark. She could no longer feel the Lord's presence, and Tao Wei was confused, at a loss. How had the religious world lost the work of the Holy Spirit? Could it be that the Lord had already returned, and had appeared to do work elsewhere? … As Tao Wei urgently sought answers to these questions, she longed more and more to attain the supply of the living water of life from God. She and her brothers and sisters sought out God's Work and appearance together, and finally came to the Church of Almighty God, where they began to communicate and debate with the preachers of the Church of Almighty God. … Will they be able to find the source of the living water of life at the Church of Almighty God? Will they be able to attain the water of life from the river that flows from the throne?

The story so far.
Saint Watford arrived at the Bosses door.
Lound music could be heard inside the room.
There you are Saint Watford I have a job for you!
Yes, Boss tell me my instructions?
Pinocchio, the little boy that we gave life to for that old man has fallen into bad company in your Manor!
What I want you to do is travel to earth and find Pinocchio and keep him safe.
Do I need transport on earth Boss?
Yes, you do Saint Watford!
Your transport is now outside a beautiful white Bike.
Can I have a big car like your mate the Pope.
No Saint Watford because we need to take care of earth and be Greener!
Now you know the story, Saint Watford is now on foot searching the High Street looking for the little youth!!!!
The word Manor is used in a London Cockney slang way to express the area you live.
"So...um..."
I blinked in surprise as my sweetheart turned from our embrace to reach into a drawer behind him and carefully withdraw something from inside. When he turned to face me again a moment later he was holding a small music box in his hand. With a deepening blush and a bashful smile, he held it out for me to see and explained, "I made this for you."
"Oh!"
A soft smile touched my lips and I felt myself blush as well. I was touched by this sweet gesture of his! I smiled up at him with surprise and curiosity.
"Thank you! But what's this for? It's not my birthday!"
He laughed softly and slid his arm around my shoulders. He explained, "No, I know. I just wanted to give you a reason to smile."
"But you always give me a reason to smile!" I exclaimed with a soft laugh. Pulling my gaze from his I returned my attention to the small music box. Reaching up, I gently turned the crank all the way and let it play. And as I did, I opened the box and gazed inside.
My heart began to melt as I saw the little details of the two small male figures that resembled us dancing under a painted sky of twinkling stars, the moon, and a shooting star.
"Thank you. This is so beautiful..."
And as I leaned my head against his shoulder, I brought my hand to my chest. There was no doubt about it. I know we'd only known each other a short time and we shouldn't rush anything...but I couldn't help but find myself falling in love...

Apocalyptic Outpost Collaboration made with my friend Jan T. is finally here. Four intensive days of building has so happy end, I'm really happy how this project turned out.
The biggest fun was covering stone hill and rocks around it. Opposite wasprobably adding tons of support bricks including manny Duplo. After finishing this we could finaly add and fix my houses. We didn't make zombie hideout, bunker or fortress like from movies, jusr part of damaged city without any more action and continuing storyline.
My section was mostly right hill, I made these rocks, little landscape here and sure two buildings on top. Jan made perfectly damaged in half endings road in his original road style. In spite of the facts I started this project first, Jan's part - left harbour was the most useful, when I arrived to Poland we had massive piece of base when to start with constructing. This massive diorama is bigger than two 48x48 base-plates and we used about 5k pieces.
Thank you again Jan for this wonderful collaboration and well enjoyed our spent time, you are awesome builder and friend :) see you next time in Czech.

You think you own whatever land you land on
The Earth is just a dead thing you can claim
But I know every rock and tree and creature
Has a life, has a spirit, has a name
You think the only people who are people
Are the people who look and think like you
But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger
You'll learn things you never knew, you never knew
Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon?
Or asked the grinning bobcat why he grinned?
Can you sing with all the voices of the mountain?
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?
Come run the hidden pine trails of the forest
Come taste the sun sweet berries of the Earth
Come roll in all the riches all around you
And for once, never wonder what they're worth
The rainstorm and the river are my brothers
The heron and the otter are my friends
And we are all connected to each other
In a circle, in a hoop that never ends
How high does the sycamore grow?
If you cut it down, then you'll never know
And you'll never hear the wolf cry to the blue corn moon
For whether we are white or copper skinned
We need to sing with all the voices of the mountain
We need to paint with all the colors of the wind
You can own the Earth and still
All you'll own is Earth until
You can paint with all the colors of the wind

Nobody truly leaves in Living Echoes, and nothing is truly lost.
Through the shiny halls and the crystal ponds, the elves of Living Echoes have prospered thanks to the hard labor of a united community. They let go of the tree houses of their ancestors, and decided to build a home for their own. Amidst the whispers of the trees, and the slow dance of the grass, the agitated and hasty life became a distant memory, in favour of a tranquil living.
The slow paced and quiet life of Living Echoes, though, was about to be shaken, as soon as the Unweaver managed to set its roots. Not only some of the elves, but also the native creatures and animals fell victim of this ultimate Evil. And yet the Unweaver failed in thinking that claiming those souls, they would have been completely gone and forgotten, for the love and affection stays forever, and through the never-ending stream of the city’s river, memories and reality are entwined. In Living Echoes, every victim of the Unweaver is honoured, and echoes of their lives still linger, ever present.
If you take a stroll along the bridges, or through one of the forest path, you might encounter a Living Echo. Stop by. Listen to their stories, and don’t forget them. For nobody truly leaves in Living Echoes, and nothing is truly lost.

Telling NASA's Tales With Hollywood's Tools
Space Center Uses Pixar's Palette To Artfully Explain Scientific Data
By Michael S. Rosenwald
Washington Post Staff Writer
Monday, August 21, 2006; D01
[We are lucky to be working with world class data visualizers and animators. This article in the Washington Post is one of the best print stories I've seen on the folks who are on the front lines of translating our science and making it accessible to our many audiences.]
www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/08/20/...
Every once in a while when a new movie with mind-blowing special effects or oh-my-gosh-it-looked-so-real animation opens, a nondescript office at NASA Goddard Space Center in Greenbelt will mysteriously empty of employees during matinee hours.
Before an investigation is launched into the whereabouts of these workers -- particularly, say, around last year's opening of "Star Wars: Episode III -- Revenge of the Sith" -- understand that they are not blowing off work. The absentee employees are animators, NASA staffers and contractors who use the same software Pixar Animation Studios uses to tell stories about talking cars to instead tell stories about the Earth. They just want to see what their counterparts in Hollywood have been up to.
There is the occasional did-you-see-that elbow nudge, but in their case it's about craft, not cinematic delight, said Horace Mitchell, project manager at the space center's scientific visualization studio. Mitchell is a NASA employee, but the studio is staffed primarily by animators working for Global Science & Technology Inc., a government contractor in Greenbelt. The company uses the Hollywood software, including Pixar's RenderMan and Autodesk Inc.'s Maya, to translate complicated data into animated movies that illustrate what is happening in and around Earth. The videos often end up on the evening news.
The crucial difference in NASA's use of the software is that Hollywood uses it to spin inspiring, happy-ending stories about love and courage and friendship and hope, while the animators in Greenbelt are often telling stories about bad things happening in the atmosphere, such as last year's hurricane season. In their chilling short film "27 Storms: Arlene to Zeta," set to Vincenzo Bellini's eerie music, viewers can watch the ocean heat up, helping fuel one storm after another -- thanks to the same Pixar software used in the upcoming version of "Charlotte's Web."
NASA oceanographer Gene Carl Feldman frequently collaborates with the Global Science studio. He studies the ocean from space.
"Visualization is that link between the flood of data coming down from space and the ability of the human mind to interpret it," Feldman said. "That's the crux of the story. Better than most other groups in the world, they are able to take this fire hose of data coming down and turn it into images -- visual animation -- that then allows the general public to see this data in ways their brains can interpret and study."
The Hollywoodization of NASA data is in part the result of Pixar's success in creating real-life worlds from fantasy stories. People have come to expect that even the most fantastical of ideas -- a talking, curmudgeonly Mr. Potato Head -- can look and feel exceedingly real. "They don't expect to see crudity," Mitchell said. "They expect to see sophistication because they see it everywhere. In order for us to tell the story, we have to be sophisticated about telling stories and we have to use sophisticated technology to tell them."
Pixar was spun off from George Lucas's film company, and its early days were spent selling animation software and hardware -- a way to pay the bills until computer technology caught up with the firm's vision of making the incredibly life-like films that it produces today.
Today, anyone can purchase versions of RenderMan online, for $995 to $3,500.
Global Science, a private company that employs about 250 people, is definitely not a movie studio. It was founded in 1991 by Chieh-san Cheng, a former employee of an aerospace and technology company with advanced degrees in technical management and meteorology. Global Science provides services in applied science and research, geospatial standards, engineering services, and information technology. The firm's contract with NASA is a small part of its business, contributing about $650,000 a year to about $45 million in revenue.
Global Science and Pixar know about each other, but interaction between the staffs is generally limited to animation conferences and trade shows. But the Global Science staff does feel a strong bond with Pixar, particularly when watching one of its movies.
Jim Williams, a Global Science animator, said, "I'll go into it thinking I'm going to look at the technical stuff and then I'll get completely sucked into the story."
This happened during Pixar's recent hit, "Cars."
"I'm watching it, I'm totally into the story, and they get to the end and they go into that stadium, and there's tens of thousands of cars in there and I drop out of the story and think, 'Wow, that must have been a pain in the butt to get that right.' And then I'm back into the story," he said.
The difference between the storylines is that Pixar is trying to get laughing cars right and Global Science is trying to get the atmosphere right. The way in which Global Science uses RenderMan is not easy. Here's one way of looking at it: This article has been typed on a word processor. The computer received the data -- in this case, they looked like letters -- and displayed them on a screen. The lines were long, containing dozens of words. Those words needed to appear in the newspaper, and to do that a graphic designer used another program to render and squeeze the words into narrow columns of newsprint, with black type, a font, and italics , and so forth so the words appear in the paper as they do now. That's essentially what RenderMan does for data -- whether it be information about Buzz Lightyear's appearance or atmospheric models of hurricanes. RenderMan is the mechanism by which data are translated. Another program, Maya, acts as the word processor.
Global Science translates scientific data this way. Recently, one of its animators sat behind a computer monitor in a dark room with an image that could have appeared as a backdrop in a Van Gogh painting. But it was a depiction of aerosols moving across the atmosphere, a way of illustrating air quality. Yellow represented dust, the green was sulfates produced by humans, the blue was sea salt. Altogether, it was sort of beautiful but apparently not good news for the atmosphere.
Like their Hollywood counterparts, the Global Science animators typically refer to their finished products as releases, but the scripts are composed of data and the script writers are some of the world's most brilliant scientists. The creative process generally works like this: A scientist or a public affairs officer will ask the animators to illustrate a concept or data set. It can be as simple as ocean temperatures or as complicated as a collection of satellite images. A discussion with the scientific team and public affairs officer ensues over the best way to illustrate the data, and the animators get to work.
Feldman, the NASA oceanographer, studies oceans from space because, as he said: "Oceans are really, really, really big and they change very, very quickly. You can't track that from a ship. What a satellite sees in a minute would take a ship a decade." Feldman is particularly interested in the relationship between the changing environment and ocean life, which he pursues by studying the first level of life in the ocean, or microscopic plants, through ocean color.
The only problem is that satellites collect a very large amount of complicated data. The visualization studio helps him make sense of it. Feldman has made animations of what happened to the ocean during the transition between El Niño and La Niña -- "it was the biggest phytoplankton bloom in the world ever observed," he said. He has animated Lake Michigan's microscopic plant blooms and a dust storm the size of Spain that blew across the ocean in the past few years. He has animated autumn in Boston, which roughly translates into, as he put it, "how life follows the sun."
If Cheng, chief executive of Global Science, has his way, NASA scientists wouldn't be the only people relying on his firm's handling of Hollywood software to explain complicated subjects. Cheng would like to use the software to better explain the human body to doctors. He said the company is finalizing plans for a medical-imaging division and is exploring the possibility of a partnership with Maryland universities.
"What we could do is use movie techniques to give the doctor and medical staff more dynamic and accurate images to make a diagnosis," he said.

#macromondays #Fictitious
The latest #macromondays challenge #Fictitious prompts me to share this picture with you too. Finally Homer made it into the pool but of course i gave it a try myself to create more than just a single shot!
#Fictitious is an adjective that describes something that is not real or genuine, but rather imagined or fabricated. It can refer to something that has been invented or made up, often in the context of stories, data, or identities.
Spider-Man is a fictional superhero created by writer-editor Stan Lee and writer-artist Steve Ditko. He first appeared in Amazing Fantasy #15, published by Marvel Comics in 1962. Spider-Man has since become one of the most popular and enduring characters in the Marvel Universe, and he has been the subject of numerous comic books, television shows, movies, and other forms of media.
Key Attributes and Characteristics:
Real Name: Peter Parker
Origin: Peter Parker was a high school student living in New York City with his Aunt May and Uncle Ben. After being bitten by a radioactive spider, he developed spider-like abilities including super strength, agility, the ability to stick to walls, and a sixth sense that warns him of danger, termed his "spider-sense."
Web-Swinging: With his scientific acumen, Peter developed a web fluid and a pair of wrist-mounted web-shooters that allow him to create webs for various purposes, including swinging between buildings, capturing criminals, and creating various web-based tools and weapons.
Motto: "With great power comes great responsibility." This phrase serves as Peter's guiding principle, instilled in him after the tragic death of his Uncle Ben, a death Peter feels responsible for because he initially used his powers selfishly rather than to stop a thief who later killed Ben.
Enemies: Spider-Man has one of the most diverse and iconic rogues' galleries in all of comics, which includes villains like the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Venom, Sandman, the Lizard, and many others.
Allies: While often a solo hero, Spider-Man has teamed up with many other superheroes in the Marvel Universe, including the Fantastic Four, the Avengers, and the X-Men. He also has a close relationship with other street-level heroes in New York, such as Daredevil.
Identity: Peter's struggle to maintain his secret identity and balance his personal life with his responsibilities as Spider-Man has always been a central theme of the character's narrative.
Alter Egos: While Peter Parker is the most famous Spider-Man, other characters have taken up the mantle or have been inspired by him in various storylines and alternate realities. This includes characters like Miles Morales, Gwen Stacy (as Spider-Gwen or Ghost-Spider), and Ben Reilly (as the Scarlet Spider).
Portrayal in Other Media: Spider-Man has been portrayed in numerous films, notably by actors Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland. Additionally, the character has been the subject of various animated series, video games, and more.
The character's relatable struggles, both as a teenager and as an adult, combined with his wit, determination, and strong moral compass, have made Spider-Man a beloved figure in pop culture for many decades.

Not sure what the 'mossy stones' proverb was all about. I always took it to mean that staying busy would help keep the mind sharp and alert, however one does not necessarily lead to the other. It might have been a metaphor about the dangers of laziness. It also reminded me of how moss supposedly grows only on the north facing side of trees. That little tip was supposed to help us navigate ourselves back to safety after getting lost in the woods. (I have since learned that it isn't necessarily true.) None of this really matters; I was just reaching for a storyline to connect with the moss growing on the roof of this 19th century Gothic receiving vault. I will say that this side of the vault faces north.
Europe, France, Drôme, Valence, Comic strip shop, Shopwindow, Captain Haddock (slightly cut from R&T)
Captain Haddock is probably the most colourful character TinTin (in Holland: Kuifje) author Hergé (the a.k.a. of Georges Remi) created. Haddock often caters for comic relief in the storylines and is an undisputed master of expletive. In Holland, 'Mille sabords' is known as 'Duizend bommen en granaten'. In the Brittish translation it became 'Billions of blistering blue barnacals'. It's his most popular expletive - he used it on 166 occasions. 22 times more then the second popular one, 'Tonnerre de Brest' which became 'Thundering typhoon'.
Ofcourse invectives like 'swine, jelly fish, troglodyte and toffee-nose', are integral to his vocabulary too ;-)

I'll admit I've been somewhat selective with what Toa team variants I've wanted to make figures of.
The Toa Inika were interesting, but honestly the 2006 storyline I never had much interest in. The rubber/organic masks really unimpressed me.
2007 however put us in an entirely new environment. A deep sea mission had never really been part of the storyline before and it sparked the imagination of what new designs could be incorporated into the scenario.
The Toa Mahri were a unique group of Toa. And one of my personal favourites. I loved the designs and where the storyline was heading, 2007 brought us the most tragic yet heroic moment in Bionicle history. And really changed the playing field for the Bionicle universe.
The adorable girl Aquila enjoys some OOC time with Julian at Eagle Point! There is a lot going with the roleplay storylines, but that doesn't mean there isn't time to relax and chat!
As part of the Mischief Managed universe, and the story of Zimelda Zemeckis, 'An Uncertain Fate' is a short cinematic scene travelling back to 2026, the hour of Alyssa Merriweather's election win, and Zimelda's subsequent and sudden departure.
---------------
For anyone who does not roleplay at Mischief Managed, the storyline is set slightly in the future, and will soon be entering 2028. 2026 therefore is 2019 real time, when this 'Scene' took place. During the storyline, Alyssa Merriweather, a hard-left candidate went up against Wilfred Bloom, a hard-right, and won the election.
This scene will depict what Zimelda Zemeckis did in those moments.

I guess Peter Pan was right
Growing up's a waste of time
So I think I'll fly away
Set a course for brighter days
Find the second star, I'm soarin'
And then straight on to the morn'
I know that I'll be fine
'Cause I know Peter Pan was right
Just a lost boy in a small town
I'm the same kid but I'm grown now
Try to make it out but I don't know how
Wish that I was young, what have I become?
Now it's late night and I'm at home
So I make friends with my shadow
And I play him all my sad, sad songs
And we don't talk but he sings along like
Days feel like a blur now
Still feel 18, but I'm burnt out
So I daydream of what I could be
If I turn back time to a storyline where
My mom read me a tale where
A couple kids, one girl and a sailor
Met a boy in green, I thought it'd be me
But I guess that dream wasn't meant to be like
Fairytales are not the truth
What am I supposed to do?
And I don't care if I never land
'Cause the distant sky's always better than
My life right now and the place I am
So for one last time, I guess Peter Pan

During the 29th Annual Fleetweek celebration in New York City Memorial Day weekend, while crossing the Hudson River to get the USS Kearsarge LHD-3 docked at Pier 88 via New York Waterway Ferry as the sun was setting was able to capture this image of the W57 Building in Hell’s Kitchen referred to by some as great pyramid building though not really a pyramid nor a tetrahedron, but definitely unique addition high-rises in the skyline. There is essentially a building frenzy going on throughout the city, with the greatest concentration on the island of Manhattan, particularly in neighborhoods where in the past wouldn’t be considered candidates for high rise apartment buildings, Hell’s Kitchen, the East Village, the area surrounding the Highline Park and even though there is a lot of opposition in this area in particular Greenwich Village. So a walk in Hell’s Kitchen today is possible and quite pleasant, now a very gentrified area, many couples and families occupying the modernized tenements, the eateries lining 9th Avenue and the streets , so it was no surprise to see real estate developers buy up property and begin to build up.
Growing up in the 1970-1980’s, Hell’s Kitchen was not a place to venture to, after getting out of the Lincoln Tunnel, one definitely avoided turning westward, rather turning eastward and all the raunchiness and sleaziness of 42nd Street and Times Square may have been uneasy on the eye, but the risk of harm to oneself was considerably less than venturing into Hell’s Kitchen. So where did the name Hell’s Kitchen come from? The area, roughly bound between 34th and 57th Streets as the southern and northern borders and Eighth Avenue to the Hudson River east to west, from the mid 1800’s until the 1980’s was known for gruesome murders, the Irish mob, speakeasies and just plain violence. In the 1850’s a surge of Irish and German immigrants settled in this part of the city primarily because of its proximity to the Hudson River Docks, slaughter houses, lumber yards and the Hudson River Railroad which would become New York Central because the tracks ran down Tenth and Eleventh Avenues. Remember this part of the city was still the northern outskirts at that time and this kept the uneducated and unwelcomed immigrants away from the well to do folks who lived to the south and east. After the Civil War, gang of youths literally ruled the area. A gang referred to as Hell’s Kitchen gang was in constant battle with not only the New York Police Department but rival gangs such as the Gorillas, the Parlor Mob and the Gophers. When the Lincoln Tunnel was built, many of the tenements met their doom, as much of the area was cleared. The area though continued to linger as the gangs and their violence contributed to lower property values and rents, so it remained an alcove for the underprivileged. After World War II a new wave of immigrants moved in from Puerto Rico. Poor they banded together to form their own gangs that were in conflict with the Irish gang that still roamed the area. The storyline in Westside Story is based on this area and those conflicts. More buildings went down when the Port Authority Bus Terminal was built to accommodate not only the building but the ramps directly to the Lincoln Tunnel. The last gang of notoriety in the area was the Irish gang referred to as the Westies which I remember was one of the reasons to avoid the area while I was growing up and actually as an adult as their reign of terror which included drugs, murder, arson, theft, extortion, gambling, loan-sharking and illicit nightclubs lasted well into the late 1980’s. For anyone who saw the area back then and I know a few of you fellow flickr’ers lived here in the past, what it has become today is so different.
So this beautiful unique structure, W57 now adorns the skyline just north of the sea passenger terminals and a block south of the old IRT Powerhouse (Interborough Rapid Transit Powerhouse) that now belongs to ConEd is what’s referred to as a paraboloid according to Bjarke Ingels of the Danish architectural firm of Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) that designed W57.

It's now the turn of the “Marguerite de la Fare” series to be somewhat completed with new photos, which I hadn't initially chosen. Of course, this does not alter the storyline. The additional photos have been inserted where appropriate, in the scripted chronology of the series (see album).
This picture is part of my photographic series "Marguerite de la Fare", which I invite you to consult in the list of my albums. You will find the script in the album header, and by consulting the shots in their chronological order, paying attention to their titles, you can follow the story of Marguerite de la Fare's early years, according to my free interpretation.

I feel I don't have to tell a basic storyline along within this photograph. For me, the title speaks for itself this time! But...
...but, if you want to be a creative, you can write your own storyline for this scene/photograph by commenting below. It would be interesting to know what kind of emotions and thoughts this scene evokes in you. Please do take a part of it and surprise me, now! :)
Hi everyone, this is a MOC of Galen Marek approaching Imperial Felucia from "The Force Unleashed", my favorite storyline in the Expanded Universe. I built this MOC for the BrickzLab Legends collaboration to pay tribute to one of my favorite stories from the franchise.
I had fun using Bionicle pieces to create the plants, which is something I've been planning to do for a long time. The most challenging part of the build was the Rancor skull, but I still think there is room for improvement.
Please let me know what you think of the MOC in the comments, and stay tuned for my next post!

So Kidds!
There is a new SiFi sim in town!
My old friend Kitten Caboose from those cool peeps over at The Grove Art Center has created this unique futuristic environment, really well laid out with some superb details.
I was lucky enough get to do a shoot in the Kidd way going BIG, last week. While my interpretation strays from the builders intended storyline a tad, I had a blast making my frames!

The Sims Story Per the creator:
The story of Three Finger Pines:
Once a thriving, green world, the planet Seva was rich with towering flora. But centuries of unchecked consumerism, pollution, and climate collapse shattered its natural balance. The soil turned sterile; the skies choked with toxins.
The Seravarian race emerged from this collapse, desperate to save what remained of their dying world. They launched a small fleet of ships into the galaxy, searching for planets with atmospheres that echoed their lost home. One such vessel crash-landed on Earth—deep within an isolated region of Canada’s boreal forest known as Three Finger Pines.
Remote and largely untouched, Three Finger Pines is a land of towering pines, sprawling wetlands, and near-complete isolation. To the Seravarians, it was a living memory of what Seva once was.
They have not come to resettle Earth, but to learn from its biosystem. By studying the region’s genetic blueprints—its plants, spores, and soil—they hope to unlock the secrets needed to reawaken Seva’s long-lost ecosystem.

Watching the storm clouds blow eastwards, being replaced by bright blue skies was something to see. Having shot at this location before, I knew the conditions would never get better.
Unfortunately I was about 400mtrs away when I put 2 and 2 together which meant a frantic sprint along the Thames path to get into position.
I only just made it.
When I got home I noticed the rogue figure on the stairs. Cursing my luck my first thoughts were I'd need to do some tricky cloning, but after sleeping on it I decided to keep him in the frame, adding something to the storyline perhaps?
"If you press that red button, a deflector shield generator will go down!"
"You mean this button here?"
"Yes, yes!"
"You just give that remote to me, or I..."
"Or, you what what...?"
Scoutrooper in the right mumbles something. I'm not hearing this clearly but I think he is talking about the chance to be something else on Galactic Empire, than just a regular biker scout.
One of the generators are already running on hot and would benefit a lot, if someone could take care of it...
I had a vision of in-camera lighting for generators. In fact, I wanted all those four generators glow a red light, but during I was making this, I didn't had the proper lighting fixtures for all four. Instead of doing nothing, I've made a version with a smaller lighting setting. I say, this works even better with my little storyline! :)
**I had to redo my pic.. The other one did not follow my storyline at all. I totally messed it (dumb-dumb, Lydia!). There were also other flaws I didn't see before, such as her tears. They looked pixalated up close, so I decided to edit them a little better.**
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As pictured, Amira is modeling some fashion, but seems upset at the same time. The reason behind the tears is because 'Stewart Bradleys' (the drag) stole her design (the dress) and paid the authorities big cash to have the dress published in his name! In charge was 'Hayley-Anne Campbell'.. She was the 'authorities' and the manager of this fashion establishment.. So, without caring, she sneakely accepted Stewart's money to steal Amira's "Black Butterfly" and turn it into "The Shadow Butterfly".. a name Stewart prefered.
In this picture, Amira isn't actually crying. This is her emotions overflowing 'inside' .. It's to show she's distressed, but ofcourse, she will never be permitted to cry in front of camera. And she would never do that! Imagine how embarrassing that would be!
So instead, I had to figure out a way to express her "emotions".. and decided to make her look as if she's crying... but inside.
Also, notice how her personal touch, 'The Northern Cross' isn't shown on her dress? If you look carefully, it is still there, but Stewart blended it in with extra stars because he didn't like Amira's idea, since he's British and it would looks strange to have "The Northern Cross" on HIS design, right?
Amira was asked, along with Stewart to model this dress together. She refused and flamed up inside... what happened next? And what persuaded Amira to change her mind about modeling The Shadow Butterfly? You'll find out in the next part. ^__^
Okay, this needs to be said.
THE DARK GREEN MG-34 IS NOT, AND WILL NEVER BE FOR TRADE.
>.>
I've got so many trade requests for it. It was a gift (one I'm VERY fond of), and as such will NOT be for trade.
The Lever-Action on top is for trade, though. I just got it from a friend, but don't really care much for the Short-Shot-ness of it, so it's for trade.
It ISN'T a gift.
Although hard to tell from the pic (stupid flash >.>), it is Speckled-Champagne/Gunmetal Swirled, as well as being a V1 Short-Shot.
In other news, I've kinda hit builders block, and I really need some ideas. I'm thinking of starting a storyline-build thingy, but IDK... stay tuned.

Listen Johnny Guitar - Peggy Lee
Play the guitar, play it again, my Johnny
Maybe you're cold, but you're so warm inside
I was always a fool for my Johnny
For the one they call Johnny Guitar
Play it again, Johnny Guitar
Whether you go, whether you stay, I love you
What if you're cruel, you can be kind I know
There was never a man like my Johnny
Like the one they call Johnny Guitar
Johnny Guitar is a 1954 Western made by Republic Pictures, famed for its unusual storyline and colorful cinematography. It features Joan Crawford as a tough, trouser-wearing saloon owner and Sterling Hayden as the eponymous musician who helps her fight a wrongful accusation of murder by the town officials, who are led by another woman, a vindictive character played by (Mercedes McCambridge).
It was directed by Nicholas Ray, from a screenplay by Philip Yordan (although this credit is disputed and claimed by Ben Maddow), which was based on a novel by Roy Chanslor. The film was the last feature film produced in Republic's color process Trucolor.

Mebey Ukraine or some other former Soviet Union state. Inspired by the United storyline thingy. Tagged inspirations btw.
My brother Isaiah and I got inspired by this piece of concept art for this duel scene which is the closing episode of a storyline Captain Braunsfeld and I did on Eurobricks. Unlike most of our collabs, we didn't divide this one down the middle but each built whatever we most wanted to build (or whatever the other one least wanted to build). So I did the tudor houses and the back docks and landscaping, while Isaiah did the front pier, the other houses, the fort, and the mountains.
Full LEGO scenes often are frustrating to photograph as it's almost impossible to get everything you want in one picture, and this one was no exception. The water is actually my least favorite part here, I wanted it to stretch behind the entire foreground (i.e. behind the crates) and I also wanted it to show the lights we ran along its edge which had a really neat effect IRL but don't show on camera at all.
I did have fun with the forced perspective, especially finding midi-size barrels and boxes and stuff!
The story (along with a bunch more action shots) is on EB and you might also enjoy the behind the scenes of this on my blog (it's quite a big MOC!).
