I started building this spaceship using parts from 70688: Jay’s Storm Fighter and 70322: Axl's Tower Carrier, but refined it using extra parts to what you see before you. I'm particularly happy with all the angles created throughout the model. It is also really sturdy :-)
Starship SN8 is poised for its static fire test and 15KM Flight attempts on November 9th, 10th and 11th, 2020.
My father passed away on October 27th. I journeyed home to Brownsville, Texas for my father’s funeral. Yesterday I took a short drive to see the progress at the Boca Chica Spaceport. I was really impressed how much things have changed since I was here last a year ago. I will be here for another week before heading back home to Oregon.

Arkansas State Fair 2014... Never had the chance to take photos here. I finally got to go play around. Loading after a quick import, now time to go sort...
These are the continuing voyages of the science vessel Vanderbelt. Currently on assignment in the Vega Delta Cluster extracting large heavy metal deposits designated for star ship hull construction. Once the miners have secured the metal deposits aboard, scientists begin to examine the purity of the metals to determine whether or not they can be used for hull construction. - www.mocpages.com/moc.php/399970

Are we on to something here?
Concept pano here.
So, let me tell you something. There was a storm blowing north through the north sea, heading hard for land on the west coast of Norway.
Almost surfing the waves, it had nothing to stop it. All ships in it's way would feel it's wraith.
Had it been today it probably would've been saved. Unfortunately it's been resting on a beach ever since, and the signs of the storms looks like a meteor impact hitting the 70's like it had nothing else to do.
This night from last year, the stars aligned, with the freezing winter winds, also without anything stopping it upon it's way, all tricks had to be used to capture this night. 5h in I couldn't take it anymore. I had seen so many stars and satellites come and go, cloud cover move about and constantly minding the tide, the waves, the winds and the temperatures pluming. It was over.

Couldn't resist nipping down to the 'Fun Ship' for a few shots. I managed to get a few good shots from different angles, whilst all the time being watched by CCTV and a security guard sitting in his car just to the left of this shot! This boat is crying out to be light painted, but it's virtually impossible unless you're a ninja!

In the waning days of the Galactic Republic, Kuat Systems Engineering produced a series of compact luxury yachts.
The starship was marketed towards the wealthy businessman who liked a bit of piloting action himself.
It had the agility and speed to keep up with even the better starfighters of that time. While still providing the comfort one might expect from a luxury yacht.
(There used to be a jacuzzi on board).
To make all of that possible the craft is propelled by three rather large engines, one integrated in the tail and the other two mounted one on each side.
The fuel consumption however is ridiculous.
Naturally, achieving the performing stats of an X-wing on a craft that weighs at least 4 times as much comes at a cost…
However, somewhere around the forming of the Galactic Empire, this particular ship found its way into the hands of a bounty hunter (probably stolen).
To suit the profession better the ship underwent some serious modifications.
These mostly involve adding armament and removing unnecessary features.
(such as the jacuzzi mentioned earlier).
A dorsal mounted cannon allows for fending off pursuers, a considerable part of the living space behind the cockpit was sacrificed to fit a military grade deflector shield generator in order to be able to withstand some serious enemy fire and the rear observation segment was filled with various tracking equipment and a cloaking device, making it well-capable to make itself invisible to most scanners.
Seems like KSE is a most suited supplier of bounty hunter ships.
This MOC is actually the successful marriage of two WIPs I had laying about.
I’ve been wanting to do some more starship building and was looking into renovating this previously build ship. But I soon realised it was in such a bad shape that I might as well start over again. So I did.
I had a lot of features I wanted on the ship and not all of them made it.
No functional boarding ramp alas but it does have all the flaps, vents and greebles I like.
i think that, considering the London Underground has some stunning design, it has a very unhelpful-to-photographers policy! We were chastised after spending a few minutes here, despite very few people passing through and not getting in anyone's way...
