This is the North entrance of the Singapore Indoor Stadium – from this viewpoint it reminds me of something from a science fiction show.

“Let’s Go Get A Drink, Clink”

Even though I’m in desperate need of a tan, I’m all for the vivid bright summer colors right now! I’m so ready for the heat and warmth!

That’s why I’m in love with this set from Off-Line that I found at Collabor88! Comes in so many colors and patterns to choose from too. And of course you need something to quench your thirst in that heat so naturally I reached for this drank by ChicChica there too!

Also loved the whole vibe this background was giving by FoxCity which you can pick up at Collabor as well!

Of course I shopped the weekend sales a bit too and snatched up this amazing updo by FAGA!

Starship Lobelia in our garden after the rain

Detalle del techado de la estación intermodal de Zaragoza-Delicias, ADIF, de Carlos Ferrater y José María Valero, con Félix Arranz y Elena Mateu (2003).

Fränk, Harry and I took a trip to Belgium yesterday to visit the new railway station in Mons. An imposing building that clearly bears the signature of its architect Santiago Calatrava.

-Pose by Morgan Talbot, this was just my version of the photo he did a few weeks back

A friend of mine said this shot reminded him of a starship. I don't remember if this was a Jaguar or Aston-Martin.

Abstract taken of a spiral ramp onto a foot bridge in Uxbridge. An abandoned trolley can be spotted on the left. The litter at the bottom reminds me of stars.

I feel a Star Trek theme going on here :)

ENERCON's E-115 E2/3,2 MW achieves high output even in the partial load range and is therefore predestined for inland sites with low wind conditions.

Gearless, variable speed, single blade adjustment

Height: 149 m

Rotor diameter: 115,7 m

Rated power: 3,200 kW

Captured with Olympus Zuiko 35/2,8 Shift (MC)

Rein fotografische Umsetzung, keine EBV.

...get it?

Had this idea back in November for a star shaped spaceship based on the classic five point star that everyone learned how to draw in first grade. The original iteration was pretty much completely scrapped because the overlaps required to actually follow that star pattern are a big PITA. I kept the pentagon in the middle, but distorted the angles a bit from the classic pattern. Unfortunately, nothing in LEGO is really 108 degrees, so some fudging was required in some places. Overall I'm quite happy with it, and it was nice to actually build something instead of being stuck in the same place on my other build for 5 months.
