...get it?
Had this idea back in November for a star shaped spaceship based on the classic five point star that everyone learned how to draw in first grade. The original iteration was pretty much completely scrapped because the overlaps required to actually follow that star pattern are a big PITA. I kept the pentagon in the middle, but distorted the angles a bit from the classic pattern. Unfortunately, nothing in LEGO is really 108 degrees, so some fudging was required in some places. Overall I'm quite happy with it, and it was nice to actually build something instead of being stuck in the same place on my other build for 5 months.
Debating chamber of the Welsh Parliament, seen through glass from the public viewing gallery. Designed by architects Richard Rogers Partnership and opened in 2006.
I don't often get wowed by cityscape/architectural photos but this one blew my mind. Shumon and Kenji brought me here while I was in Tokyo. A reflection shot from these thin little glass panels of Tokyo International Forum one of those shots you gotta see for yourself haha and this is one of those times where I felt the phone outperform my camera. The phone could achieve a closer distance between the glass panel and the lens making the reflections "more complete". Totally not achievable with my 14-24mm but posted one from my camera anyway. Haha.

This is the federal building in downtown San Diego. Its a wonderful piece of architecture with so many different points of interest from each side. This is one corner mirrored and mated in photoshop then turned sideways.
Hi.....I took this photo as the cloud Which I have called the Starship Enterprise slowly drifting over our back garden…I for one have never seen anything like it before, and was hoping that you would think it as interesting as I do

The Abstract by the Collectif Coin was another interesting piece of art in the Lux Helsinki 2023. Too bad that a still picture is not able to convey the motion and music that was also present in the Abstract.
Yes! For this music lover, a photograph that reminded me of a great band and a great song indeed. Where's my tie dyed t-shirt? Where's my youth?
The S.S. Helios is a Phoenix class starship capable of charging great amounts of energy from nearby stars. Also capable of starcore harvest, it is one of the most enduring types of smaller vessels in the galaxy.
--------------
Fun note on it's beginnings:
Back when we lived on the West Coast, we met one of our favorite space builders (Tardis Blue/Nick Trotta [Who is also tagged in this photo})
For awhile we've sought to osmosis some of his awesome starship building powers. For years nothing ever came of it, but finally this last month we were able to create our first Trotta-Try. In this instance mimicry is our sincerest form of flattery, and we hope it pleases the master.
Eglise Saint-Joseph, Le Havre, Normandie, France
