The Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb is an exhilarating experience and highly recommended. After several missed attempts, I finally climbed it this week. The views were gorgeous. Unfortunately, you are not allowed to take your own camera to the climb - so here is a shot from the other side. (They do take your pictures and sell them to you at outrageous prices!)
See more black on blue.

The Milky Way is one great sight to see. There isn't many words that could describe its sear beauty.

reaching the sanctuary is as demanding as it seems: starting from the bottom of the valley, near the village of Brentino you climb a narrow staircase carved into the rocky mountain wall which is 1500 steps long for a difference in height of 600 meters

Stairway to Heaven is up there as one of my favorite photos that I've taken. It was taken during the 2014 Winter season at Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station and clearly shows the LIDAR beams going into the atmosphere from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Atmospheric Research Observatory's roof.

...but later named the Brandon Hospital for Mental Diseases, and again renamed Brandon Mental Health Center, this is the Pine Ridge Building that forms
part of the expansive structures of this complex situated on the north hill at Brandon Manitoba.
No longer used for the reasons built, the facilities are slowly being renovated and will hopefully be of productive use in the community.
Not many aircraft these days boast a stairs to another deck, but this is the Airbus 380, truely a double decker.
This is the less glamorous stairs at the rear of the aircraft, but with some very snazzy lighting, its a real treat heading upwards. The front version is on "another level " entirely.
British Airways have been begun operating their A380's again since grounding during the Covid-19 pandemic, using them on daily trips to Madrid & Frankfurt, a real treat for enthusiasts during November/ December 2021.
Special thanks to Sophie, Marie & Philip, BA cabin crew for taking great care of me that day, what an experience.
Great to see the A380 back again #WelcomeBack
The title is probably a bit of a leap :-) But the 3 flowers offset one from another on the right seemed to be leading up to the blossom center left. It's a bit of a leap from the stairway to the top but I suppose we might think of heaven as being a bit of a leap! You might like viewing it large on black. View On Black

A little creative piece I put together from some of the many smoke photography images I have taken in the past few weeks. It's something a little unusual.

E poi io oggi sto proprio bene.
Anche se.

This is an experiment in using the vanishing point feature in Photoshop.
I created a perspective plane over a photo of some steps.
Then I used one of my star shot photos from last years trip to the Flinders Ranges.
Once the perspective plane gets defined, the star image gets copied onto this perspective plane of the steps, all in the correct perspective..
I had the idea of creating this image with the title 'Stairway to heaven' in mind and the image displayed as if it was over a set of giant steps.
The man silhouettes is a free file I downloaded from Adobe free resources. I modified the light beam to suit. (not in perspective)

"Stairway to Heaven" was an arduous climb from the foot of the Wawayanda Mountain in Vernon, NJ. The Pinwheel vista point is about 3/4 of the way to the top. But trust me, this is a good place to stop and turn around.
City marker (1990) by Estonian artist Leonhard Lapin.
Architektron Urania.
Duinkerkenstraat and Antwerpenstraat,
Groningen, The Netherlands.
The Books of Groningen', marking the city boundaries.
Haar naam betekent 'hemelse'. Urania is de muze van de sterrenkunde.
