I’ve been shooting the most unusual film I’ve ever shot recently, handmade by a guy in garage in Ukraine. The batch I got had some issues, which I wrote up in four posts on my blog. Most recent post, which this was taken from, is at www.thereisnocat.com/showme1033.html .

St Cyrus Nature Reserve is just north of Montrose on the east coast of Scotland. For those resident in the UK this beach featured on the BBC programme Countryfile a few weeks ago and this is what inspired me to go up there. It was well worth the effort. The sunrise lit up those rocks as if they were gold, it was a magical sight.

St.Faith makes it`s way back to the Mainland after departing Fishbourne, Isle of Wight, on the 22nd of October 2018.

Whgen you drive into St Mawes you can almost smell the money! Several years ago it was reported that St Mawes had more millionaires per head of population than anywhere else in England. Whether or not that is still true I don't know, but it certainly retains an upmarket feel with several outstanding hotels and many beautiful houses and gardens.

St Mawes sits in a sheltered bay on Cornwall's beautiful Roseland Peninsula, opposite the town of Falmouth which is on the western side of the Carrick Roads. A regular ferry across the river estuary links the two towns.

Church History

Built in 1864 as a chapel to Bowdon: St. Mary. In 1873 it became a district church for part of the township of Dunham Massey (previously served by Bowdon: St. Mary). The boundaries of "The Disrtict Chapelry of Saint Mark, Dunham Massey" were described in the London Gazette on 17 January 1873:

Iconic building by Sir Christopher Wren...darned thing survived the Blitz and looked in pretty good shape when last I was darn the smoke.

*St.Abbs Harbour*

This hidden gem is part of the stunning *Berwickshire Coast*. The village was originally known as *Coldingham Shore*, the name St Abbs being adopted in the 1890s. The new name was derived from St Abb's Head, a rocky promontory located to the north of the village, itself named after the 7th century saint Æbbe of Coldingham.

Next time your in *South East Scotland* take the time to drop in and explore the village and the surrounding countryside taking in Fast Castle & St.Abb's Head nature reserve, or for the more adventurous you can join the divers to explore the clear waters just off St.Abbs.
