St Aloysius Church is a Roman Catholic Parish church in the Garnethill area of Glasgow in Scotland. It is the only church in Glasgow to be run by the Society of Jesus. It is situated on the corner of Hill Street and Rose Street and is next door to St Aloysius' College, Glasgow, having a close relationship with the school. When it was built, it was the only Catholic church in Glasgow to have a tower. It is modelled on Namur Cathedral in Belgium and is a Category A listed building.

Some of you may have heard of the famous Cape Breton Celtic band called the Barra MacNeils without knowing what the name actually signifies. Historically the MacNeil’s were the chief clan of the Isle of Barra a Western Scottish Island that saw a lot of its population immigrate to other British colonies during the 17th and 18th centuries including PEI. St. Patrick's the grand dame captured here is a far cry from the log structure that the first 20+ families from Barra erected here in 1790, it also has the distinction of being the first church in Canada to be dedicated to St Patrick.

St. Andrews is a seaside town northeast of Edinburgh, on Scotland’s east coast. It's known for its many golf courses, including the Old Course, with the landmark Swilcan Bridge at the 18th hole. The British Golf Museum chronicles the history of U.K. golf. On a headland nearby are the ruins of St. Andrews Castle, with its medieval bottle dungeon. Close to the castle is the University of St. Andrews, founded in 1413. ― Google
