The last photo I posted was taken in the same place during the morning golden hour. I loved the place so much that I decided that i'd head back for Sunset. I'd also researched that the position of the sun for sunset would mean that the light would be on the right hand side this time, and the tide would also be in, making it look very different from how it looked in the morning.

Some of you may have heard of the famous Cape Breton Celtic band called the Barra MacNeils without knowing what the name actually signifies. Historically the MacNeil’s were the chief clan of the Isle of Barra a Western Scottish Island that saw a lot of its population immigrate to other British colonies during the 17th and 18th centuries including PEI. St. Patrick's the grand dame captured here is a far cry from the log structure that the first 20+ families from Barra erected here in 1790, it also has the distinction of being the first church in Canada to be dedicated to St Patrick.

Petite-Rivière-Saint-François is a little towin in Quebec, Canada, along the Saint Lawrence River. It is home to Le Massif ski resort, a beautiful mountain with gorgeous views. I got away for a few days to ski. I always think I'm going to be out there taking more pictures but the skiing just takes over.
Hope you like it.

"St. Nicholas' Church (German: St. Nikolaikirche) in Potsdam is a Lutheran church under the Evangelical Church in Berlin, Brandenburg and Silesian Upper Lusatia of the Evangelical Church in Germany on the Old Market Square (Alter Markt) in Potsdam. The central plan building in the Classicist style and dedicated to Saint Nicholas was built to plans by Karl Friedrich Schinkel in the years 1830 to 1837. The tambour of the 77 metre high church that towers above the roofs of the city was built later, from 1843 to 1850. Its construction was taken over by Ludwig Persius and, from 1845, Friedrich August Stüler."
St Ives is on the western shore of St Ives Bay, its harbour sheltered by St Ives Island (a headland) and Smeaton's pier. Close to the harbour, in the old part of the town, the streets are narrow and uneven while its wider streets are in the newer parts of the town on rising ground. The town has four beaches: Porthmeor a surfing beach, Porthgwidden a small sandy cove, Harbour by the working port and Porthminster which has almost half a mile of sand. St Ives has an oceanic climate and has some of the mildest winters and warmest summers in Britain and Northern Europe. It is therefore a popular tourist resort in the summer, and also benefits from an amount of sunshine per year that is above the national average. The South West Coast Path passes through the town.
There are nice places to go during this year's brutal winter, and the beach at St. Pete's is certainly one of them. Unfortunately, this was taken in 2018 and I'm not there!
Wild and remote, St Nicholas' Church, Bransdale lies at the head of a beautiful moorland dale.
Records show a church on the existing site since 1282, probably connected with The Priory of Keldholme. The present church was built in 1886 by the Earl of Feversham, and was later extended in 1934. St Nicholas' boasts a barrelled roof and several graves dating to the 18th century.
Today the Church is regularly visited a great many people, drawn by its solitude and quiet beauty.
