Attention travelers! Please remain seatted. Your vehicle is rotating backwards for your return to Earth.
I'm excited that they're updating Spaceship Earth, but it's going to take so long! Get your rides in while it's still open!!

A spring night at Epcot provides a cloudy backdrop for the colorful nighttime illumination on Spaceship Earth.
This was one of the first shots I took at EPCOT, after bolting to Soarin' as fast as we could to pick up a FastPass and a ride, and then enjoying a trip on a Clammobile. I later revisited this shot and tried taking it again, but the angle had changed and while I didn't have as much tree in the shot (which is probably my one quibble with the picture), the angle on the Spaceship Earth sign was more extreme, so it was harder to read the text.
Also, how cool is that logo for Spaceship Earth? Not as cool as the original, I know, but that's not a bad substitute! Why don't we see it popping up more often!?
Creativity should be rewarded.
His eyes are so sad. Even though he was so nice and smiled at me, his eyes got to me.

In the first scene of Star Wars, we see a small spaceship pursued by a much larger monolithic star cruiser which keeps coming and coming and coming. When I look up at the enormous buildings in London today and flip the image upside down, they remind me of these star cruisers...
I knew I had a winner, when I asked the shop owner if they had any "unsual" lamps, and she said..."oh, we've got this real ugly lamp over here...!" my heart skipped a beat, cuz...that's ALWAYS, a good sign("ugly")and once again...SCORE!!!
The Art and Science Exhibition Part III consists of a scientific educational part showing some of the most beautiful satellite images of the Earth, curated by ESA, along with some interactive terminals providing the scientific background information. Several examples of artistic works with satellite imaging and historical references to the field comprise the second part of this exhibition.
This satellite image is also part of the Spaceship Earth Exhibition (2015) at Ars Electronica Center, Linz.

Spaceship Earth is the iconic and symbolic structure of Epcot, the second of four theme parks built at the Walt Disney World Resort. One of the most recognizable structures of any theme park, it is also the name of the attraction that is housed within the 18-story geodesic sphere that takes guests on a time machine-themed experience using the Omnimover system.
