We visited a HiFi event (Westdeutsche HiFi-Tage) in the Maritim hotel in Bonn yesterday. On our way back we stopped by the famous "Museumsmeile" and went up on the roof of the Bundeskunsthalle to take some pictures during sunset.

I really liked these blue cones, but there's also a lot more to see, so make sure you pay a visit next time you're in Bonn!

This is not my usual share for Flickr but I found it so unusual I thought I would. This home is built on top of a butte in Sedona, Arizona, USA. The only way to it is by a cable car or helicopter. When it is finished I believe it will be for rent. But not for the faint of heart. Enjoy.

These matt bluecoated windows above the building made me think about Star Trek and Star Wars from my youth.

In the late afternoon and early evening we chased northward moving storms in western Kansas. They were moving fast and were not that spectaculair.

However, near sunset we encountered a very nice looking supercell over northeast Colorado: it had the look of a spaceship with frequent lightning in the anvil area.

What a chase !

This cloud looked like the aliens were about to land!

Flying saucer shaped Oue Tower in Singapore CBD

Whilst there are many drop ships, there are few droplet ships. This was a an experiment in making a smooth, round shape with lots of straight, sloped bricks.

I think that its ventral planform looks like something that you might hang from a Christmas tree. Nadolig llawen o Llwyngwril Systems!

Big Supercell thunderstorm emerging over Interstate 20 near Santo, Texas. An interesting journey forward.

I took this inside a restaurant facing the window with the #airport in view...

These "spaceships" are actually the "downlights" in the restaurant reflected on the window's glass ;)

Had been too long since I just did some building for fun, and I felt like making a spaceship. Didn’t have anything specific in mind, so looked at what interesting elements I had around. Some RB 3x3x5 quarter cylinder with arches normally used for tree trunks and white balloon panels caught my eye. And the rest of the craft grew from there. Has an opening cockpit that reveals the little turtle pilot.
