The Contact Series of LEGO built creations was designed to promote the beauty of all intelligent life forms as extensions of our family – children under the same creative force.
This is a story where human consciousness rediscovers the art of intuition and the subtle – but powerful – forces of the universe. Here, groups of modern humans use ancient rituals which – in combination with expanded consciousness – initiates communication with the great space faring cultures of the universe. Vectoring extraterrestrial beings to their position on earth, these humans invite the visitors to help heal the planet through the ETs' transformative powers and bring the greater Earth community closer to the spiritual nature of the universe.
In the Contact Series, war, self interest and materialistic thinking are products of the less evolved species – such as humans. While there are others like us in the universe, the vast collection of sentient beings spread throughout the universe have either evolved beyond this or never had concepts as these in their culture.
Understanding the spiritual nature and properties of the universe helps societies to unlock powerful forces which greatly improve the quality of life. The forces include out of body travel (astral travel), healing, telepathy with all life forms (including plants and animals), weather control, trans location, space travel, instant plant growth, materialization of objects through sound and thought and much more. Generally speaking, what we perceive as supernatural, paranormal or miraculous are simply expressions of this power. The most spiritually advanced of the cultures have evolved close to celestial.
All advanced technologies dovetail into this spiritual story. For example, traveling beyond home systems is only possible through a combination of advanced electronics and consciousness expansion. Ships are manufactured conscious entities which interface with star travelers. Forged in the astral realm through pure tones, these living trans dimensional transport vehicles fold out of linear space time allowing for movement at the speed of consciousness – which is limitless.
Now for the catch. In order to access and interface in this manner, one must resonate at a high frequency (or of kindness). Malevolent levels of consciousness simply cannot access this kind of advancement. For this reason, interstellar war is not an option. Ships have no weapons.The vast multitude of sentient, space faring races keep track of lower evolved, spiritually empty races that enter atomic and space ages. Quarantines are put up around such planets to maintain peace in local areas of space. Missions to neutralize atomic weapons are part of the quarantine process. And so it is with earth…

Interested in science and epistemology. Searching for ways to test and visualize the limits of human knowledge, physics, psychology, history, politics, etc.
On October 4th, 1951, Henrietta Lacks passes away from a very aggressive form of cancer. Then starts her last journey, from the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore to the family cemetery in Virginia. Nobody knew at the time that another journey started for her, more precisely for her cells. A small sample of her tumor was taken without her knowledge by Dr. George Gey. He was amazed to observe that these cells behaved in a way never seen before: they kept growing and multiplying, again and again, infinitely.
Henrietta could not know, but she had become immortal. This case is one of the most famous, and problematic, stories in modern medicine. The last road of the immortal woman is a liminal space. Between mortality and immortality, scientific and emotional, political and personal, metaphysical and empirical, exploitation and recognition. It’s the space separating what a human life is, and can be.
Her family was an underprivileged African-American family, who had no idea that their mother/wife/cousin's cellular material was used all over the world by researchers in thousands of experiments, vaccine development, virus investigation, beauty product trials. Her cells were even exposed to nuclear bombs, and sent all the way up to space.
The last road of the immortal woman is a liminal space. Between mortality and immortality, scientifical and emotional, political and personal, metaphysical and empirical, exploitation & recognition.
Through the metaphor of this last road, along landscapes, microscopic photography, data and texts, the spectator is invited to follow a path and explore the intertwined stories of segregation, mutation, contamination, appropriation & space-time.

Today's story and sketch by me #1350, is about Sid Gromski a Zommie from the Planet Shaffto, in dimension Twenty. Sid wasn't always a Zombie, Sid was actually one of the greatest Spaceship test pilots in dimension twenty, and had a unique talent of being able to survive the most Horrendous crashes. Sid wasn't always a Zombie, but after walking away from numerous nasty crashes, until one frosty sunrise while testing a nuclear powered twin seat Space Roadster, flying way to low over the frozen moon known as Woopa Zero. The controls froze, Sid hit the Surface of Woopa O, traveling At a little over 2,500 miles an hour, slid 12 miles across the icy surface of Lake Moorcold, before the heat from the nuclear reactor melted the surface ice, and sinking 22 feet to the bottom. Now Sid was really pissed off, knowing is body temp had reached the same as the icy water, but was still conscious. Just at that moment Sid was sucked into an underwater space time portal (WBH), a Watery Black Hole, and within one hour was transported to where you see him, cold but alive on this Planet we call Budahunga, how or why Sid was directed here, will have to be a story for another time, until then Tata the Rod Blog.
Today's story and sketch by me #1300 NotChicken in every pot. Is about Tye Alfresco from the Planet Zorabi. Tye's Spacecraft crash landed here on this Tropical Volcanic Planet eight months ago. We call it Budahunga, it's hurling though the space time continuum, in some unknown Galaxy in an unknown Dimension. but more about that, will have to be a story for another time. Because the big story this morning is about Tye's bathing style, that caught the attention of Deputy Morton. Morton had never seen a Zorabian bathing in a Cauldron of 100 Degrees Celsius bubbling swamp mud. But that also will have to be a story for another time, until then Tata the Rod Blog.
This NASA Hubble Space Telescope photo reveals a cosmic kaleidoscope of a remote galaxy, which has been split into multiple images by an effect called gravitational lensing.
Gravitational lensing means that the foreground galaxy cluster is so massive that its gravity distorts the fabric of space-time, bending and magnifying the light from the more distant galaxy behind it. This “funhouse mirror” effect not only stretches the background galaxy image, but also creates multiple images of the same galaxy.
The lensing phenomenon produces at least 12 images of the background galaxy, distributed over four major arcs. Three of these arcs are visible in the top right of the image, while one counter arc is visible in the lower left — partially obscured by a bright foreground star within the Milky Way.
The galaxy, nicknamed the Sunburst Arc (officially designated PSZ1 G311.65-18.48), is almost 11 billion light-years from Earth and has been lensed into multiple images by a massive foreground cluster of galaxies 4.6 billion light-years away.
Hubble uses these cosmic magnifying glasses to study objects that would otherwise be too faint and too small for even its extraordinarily sensitive instruments. The Sunburst Arc is no exception, despite being one of the brightest gravitationally lensed galaxies known.
The lens makes images of the Sunburst Arc that are between 10 and 30 times brighter than the background galaxy would normally look. The magnification allows Hubble to view structures as small as 520 light-years across that would be too small to see without the turboboost from the lensing effect. The structures resemble star-forming regions in nearby galaxies in the local universe, allowing astronomers to make a detailed study of the remote galaxy and its environment.
Hubble’s observations show that the Sunburst Arc is similar to galaxies that existed at a much earlier time in the history of the universe, perhaps only 150 million years after the big bang.

Today's story and sketch by me #1342 Kalipto, Is about the stranger I just discovered under the banana tree. His name is Kalipto, he was formerly a citizen of the city of Tajunga on Planet Somahottarock, in dimension eleven. Formally was yesterday, that was when Kalipto went into his local tavern for a cold one, but as he walked through the door, the door became a space time portal, Kalipto was instantly, maybe not quite instantly, he is not sure how long he was spinning and tumbling through the space time Continuum, before being plucked down under this banana tree, on this Tropical Volcanic Planet we call Budahunga. Just who Kalipto is, and why he is one of the many new characters to be relocated to Budahunga will have to be a story for another time, until then Tata the Rod Blog.

I always have very happy associations with railway stations but they can be scenes of sadness; saying good bye to a loved one, waiting for someone who doesn't show, making a journey alone.
This is a shot I've had in mind for sometime but normally with the Mk4 sets the loco ends up under the bridge. This evening I was lucky and the set was short formed by one coach.
The slow shutter speed captured a double image of the second hand. I liked this photo better than the faster original images.
View from the bottom of artificially dried lake Karla. Today there is a project in progress to regenarate a big part of the lake, constructing enormous water reservoirs, which attract thousands of birds and a local species of fish is now thriving again!
Today's story and sketch "by me" I have jumped dimensions by way of the space time continuum dimension jumping stargate in the back of the man cave into dimension Z-7, it was created with a dimension curse by Zooelda the Gypsy Voodoo Princess, owner of the Dimension Two Moon Pie Shop on route 66 in Broken Drum Indiana. She created it to send Clark Husband #7 for two days, Clark was transformed into a Spirit Palm you see in the foreground, a month later Kimo a surfer she met on the rebound and married while visiting her pineapple plantation in Maui you see behind the moon pie van, Kimo and Zooelda were married 7 days until they returned to Indiana. The moon pie van arrived last week with Derick who had the misfortune of obtaining a business license to open a moon pie shop on wheels in Broken Drum. Zooelda sent him and his van to Z-7 along with Sally Fielder who until last week worked for the city of Broken Drum in the business license department, who she transformed into a Gawanies Dung Beetle, which is a story for another time, until then taa ta the Rod Blog.
In taking this photo, I wanted to explore the purity of contrast between black and white in its most elementary form. I chose to work with simple, repetitive lines, like a visual breathing in space. My intention was to create a silent visual score, where each vertical element marks a pause, a time, like the beats of a metronome. I was seeking that sensation of calm and regularity that can be felt in a perfectly mastered space-time.

y2o navigue en eaux troubles, entre asphyxie et exaltation, entre dévoration et répudiation, entre oui et non, des deux côtés de la peau. Cette œuvre nous donne à voir un amour au bord de la dérive, cellule multimorphe diffractée en de multiples scènes. Chacune de ces scènes triture les nœuds émotifs qui se font et défont dans l’abrasion du quotidien et observe les polarités croisées dont sont faites les amours sans répit.
Dans cet espace-temps élastique, suspendu hors du réel, deux intériorités entrent en collision. Si lui ressent quelque chose, elle ne le ressent pas et vice-versa jusqu’au vide, là où l’on n’éprouve plus rien, à force d’émotions.
y2o trace son sillon dans l’intime, ce territoire hasardeux où l’on hésite sans cesse entre ce que l’on dérobe au regard de l’autre et ce que l’on choisit de montrer. L’un comme l’autre pourrait nous perdre. L’un comme l’autre pourrait nous mener à se retrouver.

It's Neo-Classic Space time! This, is the "Galaxy Tzar"
When asked to make a modular armed exploration craft, General Galaxy turned to what many consider to be the greatest multi-role modular spacecraft of all time... The "Galaxy Commander".
Thirty years later, when Earth Alliance command asked for an new starship to fill the role originally defined by the Galaxy Commander, General Galaxy looked back upon it's original design and after two years of development, released the Galaxy Tzar.
As an enthusiast of Classic Space, I wanted to celebrate the fact that this LEGO theme was launched (literally!) forty years ago. These are the sets of my childhood which single-handedly crystallised my love of LEGO and all things space, two things that have continued to feature heavily in my MOCs.
I wanted a simple build which featured the number ‘40’ at its core with my favourite minifigures busying themselves around it. I decided to incorporate elements from original Classic Space sets and included some of my favourites within the build. Fellow fans will recognise the Space Buggy (886), Space Dart I (6824), a ship from Space Supply Station (6930) and the rocket from Inter-Galactic Command Base (6971).
The build also includes the Space Police Statue from Galactic Enforcer (5974) which at the time of release celebrated 30 years of LEGO space – time sure flies. The grey statue is all my own work and includes a hard-to-source grey helmet originally released in a Classic Castle set.
Finally, Benny has joined the celebrations and has brought his trusty, robot sidekick and his own snack!

Today's story and sketch" by me" I have traveled through the space time continuum stargate in the back of the man cave to Dimension Z-1944-1, to meet up with Rescue Randy who is here to rescue Hellga a Celestial Dung Beetle and her baby James, who were another casualty of the Texas sized asteroid that crashed into worm hole nine sending anything it hit like Randy's B&R interstellar Glider into another dimension if lucky, if not into a lot of tiny size space trash bits hurling out into deep space, just how deep or far is a guess for a Cosmologist above my pay grade, Which will be a story for another time. Hellga and her baby are lucky to be alive, her flying saucer was badly damaged but she managed to perform a soft crash landin not far from Big Billy Bolton the spirit tree, and the only shade in Dimension Z-1944-1, Big Billy was once human and married to Zooelda the Gypsy Voodoo Princess, owner of the Dimension Two Moon Pie Shop on route 66 in Broken Drum Indiana. That marriage lasted four days and three hours before Zooelda turned him into this spirit tree and sent him here with a voodoo doll for company that never stops talking, until next time taa ta the Rod Blog.

Founded in 1999, ‘Manalmagudi’ is an experimental Tamil Theatre group that stresses traditional rituals in performance, to explore and transcend limits of body, space, time and performance.
The ritualized performances and rehearsals take place in non-urban and natural settings, in cities, villages and even in forests and among shifting sand dunes. The audience and actors often merge and include people from the very communities of the rituals, in their own terrains.
Manalmagudi’s productions – Vanathadhi, Koondhal Nagaram, Uthiramugamoodi, Semmoodaay, Kathaivanam, Kuttrum Pattriya Udazh, Mirugavithushagam Soorpanangu and Kugaimaravaacikal have created a new discourse in Tamil theatre.
Manalmagudi also travels across Tamil Nadu, and India, to perform and conduct theatre workshops not merely enacting rituals into theatre (ritual theatre) but embodying a theatrical ritual.

This photo, suggestive of an old-fashioned lift cage, in fact shows inside a much smaller enclosure: one of the electrode housing boxes that will fly on ESA’s LISA Pathfinder mission, planned for launch later this year. The inside of the box measures 5.5 cm on each side.
LISA Pathfinder is a technology demonstrator that will pave the way for future space-based observatories measuring gravitational waves – ripples in the fabric of space-time that are predicted by Albert Einstein’s general theory of relativity. Produced by massive accelerating bodies, these perturbations are expected to be abundant across the Universe, but they are yet to be detected directly.
Although not aiming at detecting gravitational waves, LISA Pathfinder will test the technologies that could be used for this daunting endeavour. In particular, the mission’s goal is to achieve the best free-fall ever, reducing all the non-gravitational forces acting on two test masses and controlling any residual effect with unprecedented accuracy.
LISA Pathfinder's test masses are two identical cubes of solid gold–platinum alloy, measuring 4.6 cm on a side and almost 2 kg each. Once in space, they will have no mechanical contact with their immediate environment. Each cube is surrounded by an ‘electrode housing’, its walls lying several millimetres from the cube on all six sides.
The boxes will track the positions of the test masses and apply tiny adjustments if needed. The housings are part of highly sophisticated equipment that includes a laser metrology system and several microthrusters to apply small shifts to the spacecraft’s position to keep it centred on the masses.
In fact, achieving a near-perfect gravitational free fall is very complex even in space, as forces other than gravity will disturb the motion of the cubes, including pressure from sunlight and particles from the solar wind.
The data collected by LISA Pathfinder will reveal all the spurious effects that can affect the purely gravitational motion of two test masses in space. In a full-scale gravitational wave observatory, the test masses would be contained in individual spacecraft separated by a million kilometres. Knowledge of all the non-gravitational forces acting on them will be needed to calibrate and optimise such a future experiment, enabling the detection of possible variations in the position of the test masses caused by a passing gravitational wave.

Today's story and sketch "by me" I have come to possibly to the most unpleasant, obnoxious planet in the Galaxy, with it's own multidimensional unpleasant assortment of repulsive odious dreadful nasty smells, that seem to get more repulsive every hour of the 28 hours of 145 degrees of daylight. This nightmarish Planet was created by a Gypsy named Zooelda during a courtroom exchange between Zooelda and a Judge named Clay, who asked her to be quiet twice when he was reading the charges brought against her by a customer at her Moon Pie Shop, Zooelda's Dimension Two Moon Pies on route 66 in Broken Drum Indiana. The lawsuit allegation was her coffee was too hot, the plaintiff, a well known tort attorney spilled a cup on his lap whilst texting and applying manly eyeliner, he spilled the hot coffee on his junk. There were two customers who witnessed the use of his cell phone and eye makeup followed by the loud screaming, but were not allowed as witnesses for the defence. Things became Chaotic when Zooelda screamed at the judge, did he understand that hot coffee is actually supposed to be"HOT", and not recommended for direct contact with private parts, that was the actual moment the Judge screamed at Zooelda to shut up, and it was less than 5 seconds later that Zooelda sent the judge, and every lawyer within ten miles, out of their three-dimensional lives in Indiana into the multidimensional space time continuum to the Planet Z-Barrister as Attorney Spirit Tree's, and you see the judge watching his pet humming bird, today you also see JB who stops once in awhile to fill the bird feeders, until next time taa ta the Rod Blog.

The lines of time and space intersect several times, and so does our existence, in a continuous transformation of learning and error, so that it may be renewed forever. The soul is not bound in temporal or spatial lines by which we can travel in it, hence some of our visions of the past or the future that we do not recognize. We all have a reason to exist, friends are not a coincidence, the people we love, the neighbors or the path we make are part of a space-time web in which we interact several times over generations.
Every act, step, look, word has repercussions in this temporal space fabric as well as in the people that surround us, we are all spirits of transformation but essentially Spirits Of Love whose mission is to protect this miracle that is Life throughout the universe !

Alicja Kwade a créé un cadre spatial composé de murs de béton, de miroirs doubles, de cadres métalliques vides qui convoque le motif du labyrinthe, et plus précisément du dédale. À l'échelle de l'architecture de la nef, cette construction génère un rapport à l'espace, au temps et à la destinée. L’artiste entend décupler notre attention, nous désorienter et mettre nos sens en éveil en perturbant nos repères. Un jeu de réflexions grandeur nature qui lui permet de matérialiser les concepts abstraits de temps et d'espace.Au sol, est disposé un ensemble de 16 sculptures que l'artiste a modélisé en s'inspirant du concept de la suite de « Suite de Fibonacci » : selon ce principe, chaque sculpture constitue la somme des deux précédentes.
Pour Alicja Kwade, cette oeuvre fonctionne telle une image qui serait en constante évolution, au gré des déplacements du visiteur. En choisissant de faire se refléter ou non les objets à l'intérieur du dédale, l’artiste pousse les images à se mouvoir, les formes à se transformer selon une logique de séquençage. Au-dessus de nos têtes plane la menace d’un inquiétant pendule en action, composé d’une horloge et d’une pierre, qui tournent dangereusement à quelques mètres au-dessus de nos têtes au bout de chaines. L’espace est envahi du son amplifié du « tic-tac » généré par l’horloge. Cette vibration sonore dans l’espace matérialise le temps qui passe. Il illustre le souhait de l’artiste de rendre palpable, visible, concrète, une notion aussi abstraite que le temps qui s’écoule inéluctablement. Il souligne également une idée d’infini et nous pose la question de l’instant présent. Où sommes nous ? Est-ce le pendule qui tourne ou est-ce la Terre sur laquelle nous évoluons sans nous en rendre compte ?

On the scale of the architecture of the nave, this construction generates a relationship with space, time and destiny. The artist intends to multiply our attention, to disorient us and to awaken our senses by disturbing our bearings. A game of life-size reflections that allows him to materialize the abstract concepts of time and space.At the ground, is arranged a set of 16 sculptures that the artist has modeled, inspired by the concept of the suite of "Suite de Fibonacci ": according to this principle, each sculpture constitutes the sum of the two preceding ones.
For Alicja Kwade, this work works like an image that would be constantly evolving, as the visitor moves. By choosing to reflect or not the objects inside the maze, the artist pushes the images to move, shapes to be transformed according to a logic of sequencing. Above our heads hangs the menace of a disturbing pendulum in action, composed of a clock and a stone, which turn dangerously a few meters above our heads at the end of chains. The space is invaded by the amplified sound of the "ticking" generated by the clock. This sound vibration in space materializes the passing time. It illustrates the desire of the artist to make palpable, visible, concrete, a notion as abstract as the time that elapses inevitably. He also emphasizes an idea of infinity and asks us the question of the present moment. Where are we ? Is the pendulum spinning or is it the Earth on which we move without realizing it?
What better way to celebrate an anniversary with fireworks? Those stars are lightyears away, but they're celebratory nonetheless. Sequoia National Park is a special place, especially at night. Where else can you stand next to living beings, whose age reaches back into the millennia and centuries, and stare up into space, the cosmos, and time itself? The light hitting your eyes from the Milky Way has traveled to earth for as long as the trees you're standing next to have been growing- or longer. Realizing that, and basking in the glow of space, time, and nature, is a special experience.

And in the end, cursed be those who brought about war, famine, and death, as well as those who plundered and destroyed so many defenseless cities.
