just for the exercise...to see if I could remember how to do this without looking at my instructions.... I managed...and added a title in Picnik.

I saw this sow grizzly bear and her cub near the South Klondike Highway, between Whitehorse and Carcross in Southern Yukon while driving back to Whitehorse after a day of exploration in and around Carcross. As it turned out, this was a great dat for wildlife sightings. In addition to this couple, I also saw another grizzly on the way out to Cracross in the morning, a moose, and a coyote (photo also on Flickr)

Big plant, gorwing up to 1 - 1.5m height. it is endemic to the Alps between 1000 m and 2000 m altitudes, but can be found in other mountain ranges in Central-Europe, and also on the Scandinavian peninsula and in Scotland.
Farmers love this plant, as they believe it increases the milk production of cows, hence the "milch" (milk) in the German name.
The plant is related to the common chicory.
Really lucky with the bird's here!!

Sonchus oleraceus
Aster family
The common name goes back to a time when these white sapped plants were fed to lactating pigs.
Monsoon is a season of hope for the millions of farmers in India. The current deluge of rain is keeping them happy, as they transplant from the nursery to the water logged field. It'll be a wait of three months from here on, but their merry songs tell me, that they are expecting a good harvest.
The deep furrow lines are emphasized by the low morning light in a field near Ririe, Idaho. The square format seemed to work with the geometry of the image.

will from the flesh reap corruption.
But he who sows to the Spirit
will from the Spirit reap eternal life."
