The Sowing is a virtual installation originally designed for the exhibition "Digital is Art. Art is Digital" at Museo Vostell Malpartida. A project conceived by CapCat Ragu, Meilo Minotaur and Takio Ra, 2016.
This is a remake we made in Craft World, unfortunately without Takio Ra soundscape. We did the a first remake in 2021 for the exhibition Parallel Worlds, for the Avanca Festival.
This is a new 2022 remake, with some changes from the 2016 original. Some parts were lost and can’t be recovered, but we didn’t enhance nothing, we used all the assets from that year that we had, and rebuilt some that we had lost, but in the same spirit.
We had promised a long time ago to have this online, for everybody to enjoy, it is long overdue!

"The sowing" is the name of out work for "Digital is Art. Art is Digital", they called it Delicatessen, but most of you know that is the general name of our sims, this particular work is called "The sowing"

I found Dale working this field close by and not only did I get into the cab and have a ride round the field but discovered how tractors have progressed, the equipment on board would make an Apollo rocket blush, they can virtually drive themselves.
Also learnt that after sowing they go round with the roller to break the soil even finer so that the seeds are in close contact with it hence better germination.
The seeds of love,
of trust,
of joy,
of the beautiful feeling inside.
Lets cherish every other day we spend together.

every stolen kiss,
every smile,

Momma sow was walking with her piglets and popped out of the brush next to the sidewalk. she turned around and laid down and allowed the piglets to nurse.
I just got lucky last night , it doesn't come every night or have a regular time. well chuffed it brought its young with it.
It is that time of year when farmers think about planting. This is a friend of mine busy sowing Spring Barley with the usual followers, the numbers of Seagulls was just amazing .
An Amish boy rakes his field the old fashion way with 2 horsepower. Such an old and simple way of life some people will say, I jus say it looks awful hard compared to a modern tractor power and equipment..
Cub is on the right. I think he's just about ready to send off to fend for himself.

Winter sowing is the process of planting seeds outdoors in a container during the winter months. The container remains outdoors until the seedlings emerge in the spring. The container protects the seeds from animals and harsh weather, but the exposure to colder temperatures breaks dormancy and the seeds germinate. The container also provides an ideal environment for germination in the spring.
This is a first for me... I planted flowers and lots of parsley and milkweed for the butterflies!

This sow had been rolling in the brush before the approach of another, larger sow captured her attention!
