Trump, Hegseth, Noem and others are working to create situations in order to justify their occupation of cities. They are perpetrating and escalating violence. Their imbedded professional videographers and photographers are happily filming, splicing and editing, and disseminating falsehood through their media empires.

How did Stills phrase it, oh yeah, "perpetrating some kind of myth on us all. "

This is America, we are allowed to speak and display our displeasure with our government without fear for our safety.

A sow and twin cubs feed on roots on the Nenana River south of Denali Park Alaska. These are second year cubs and will be driven away by their mother later this year. The cubs spend two years in their mother's care before they are driven away.

One more from my recent encounter with this amazing mama and cub!

In the yard, it would be a weed - but in the field it's kind of pretty, makes an interesting photo..

Lincoln, Nebraska

"The Sower" stands on the top of the Nebraska State Capitol building and is 19 feet tall and weighs 19,000 pounds. The building itself is 400 feet tall. If you zoom in you'll see that the base of the statue is decorated with ears of corn. Below the corn is a shock of wheat. The statue was created by Lee Lawrie as a tribute to the importance of agriculture in Nebraska and was part of the original construction of the building in 1932.

I shot the photo of the statue when I was out trying to get pictures of the falcons that have taken up residence a little lower on the building. This is a composite. I replaced a clear blue sky with a sunset storm cloud photo I took about 10 years ago. I thought the clouds went really well with the statue.

Looking a little like some mid May snowfall masses of airborne seeds are on the move at Saltley. Even though there were so many of them they were really difficult to capture on an image although really easy to capture in your mouth whilst taking said image. A Birmingham bound 323 rattles over the A47 with just some light traffic and a couple of pedestrians for company.

Pretty yellow flower sheltering from the wind.

These seem very at home in this environment - they grow all along the riverbank

This is the same black bear sow pictured in Bear Acorns earlier in my photo stream. This is a few minutes after that picture was taken.

Having eaten her fill of acorns, she was on her way to rest in the shade.

a grizzly sow and her single cub looking for salmon, the cub was pretty lazy and always tried to get the catch of its mother, from time to time she was really agressive and chased the cub away, Bute Inlet, BC
