With all the PNW snow pics flooding my newsfeed this morning. Here's my version. Wohoo Snowday! Stay warm everyone!

Snow was still falling when I took this picture, which sort of making it moodier than usual. Stone Arch Bridge was not that quiet that evening. There were people walking, jogging, dog-walking around.

 

We have had quite a good old winter so far this year. Almost twelve inches of fresh wet snow made its encore over this weekend. I am not dreaming about Summer yet. We will have several more weeks to go...

It’s lightly snowing now, but it will be totally gone or dirty by the time I leave for work tomorrow, so I’m posting this instead… my neighbourhood a couple of years ago. When it actually snowed on a day off so I could enjoy it without obligations.

I made these blocks for the second month of the modern tradition quilt bee. I love all of the happy fabrics Leanne sent along and even tough log cabins are simple blocks I love the way these came together and how cheerful they are. They make me happy just to look at.

Took a walk in the snowy world.

 

Nothing more fun than getting pulled on the sled around the yard! Enjoying the little bit of snow we have here before it all melts as the temperature is on the rise. I love the smile on my son's face.....he loves it! :}
