We had a snow day at school so while everyone was cuddling in their jammies, I was tramping along campus behind the Abbey, freezing my wee tush off. But, Abbeyland is the most beautiful part of campus.
Teddy absolutely adores the snow, as soon as his feet touch it he starts acting silly and has zoomies :) Today we awoke to a small sprinkle, what better Birthday present for Ted? ;)
Thank you to those who have Wished him a Happy Birthday. He had a blast and is currently flat out asleep.

Good morning everyone. On this first day of April I thought I would post a pic taken on the first day of March. Photo subject is a Slate-colored Junco (Junco hyemalis hyemalis), which in many ways is the proverbial "snowbird". Now that it is April it won't be long before these birds head north to their summer breeding ground. Like clock work every year, they arrive in October and depart in April. One day soon the 25 or so Juncos that spend winter with us will be suddenly gone. Then and only then will it be "officially" Spring.
Thank you for stopping by...and I hope you're having a truly nice week.
