We got a lot of snow.... 50 cm in 24 hours!

there was a day when I awoke and it had snowed and was still snowing and I quickly went outside and walked and walked and it continued to float down and gradually everything was transformed into a quiet winter wonderland, a day I'll never forget.

This IS a COLOR photo!!!!! The only thing I did was a slight crop to remove some power wires and add a bit of contrast and a white matte in picnik.... I should have had an umbrella because the camera was getting covered in fluffy snow as I stood there..but I don't have three arms anyway, so what can you do?

snow was forecast recently but here in Tsawwassen it did not materialize :( anyways this was taken last year around this time at Centennial Beach on a crisp sunny day.

We finally got the long awaited snow which fell during the night. When I woke up, a partial thaw had already started. This picture of Knowle hughstreet shows the snowy scene. My iPhone pictures was featured on BBC . breakfast. This was taken immediately afterwards.
