was talking with a student the other day, the day before the storm hit, who was saying she has always loved the sight of snow on branches, as long as she can remember - I mentioned I've always had the same reaction, a bit mezmerized I remember as a kid riding the bus home looking at all the branches turned to magic... hard to capture on film!

Saw a flake by Joe tonight, but I picked this one as I thought the animation was pretty cool. Too bad we can't see it here. Btw......flaker Joe has the coolest flaking wife.....Dayton/Cindy....and flaker Joe does a pretty kewl flake too. ㋡

the colors in this shot are the exact reason why i sacrificed all feeling in my fingers. i love the oranges, purples, and blues created by the sun's reflection on the snow.
