we went sledging at hilly fields the day after. we didn't have a sledge but people left things like linoleum and plastic in the snow for us
It snowed today.
In Canberra.
The first time in the five years we have been here.
Chris said : I have always thought I would never leave Canberra until it snowed in my backyard.
And now it has.
It feels like a miracle day, so freeing and POSSIBLE.

was talking with a student the other day, the day before the storm hit, who was saying she has always loved the sight of snow on branches, as long as she can remember - I mentioned I've always had the same reaction, a bit mezmerized I remember as a kid riding the bus home looking at all the branches turned to magic... hard to capture on film!
