Sometimes it is refreshing to take an image which is free from clutter and detail. This photograph was from a morning shoot at Bedruthan Steps, Cornwall.
Caister on Sea yesterday where the wind was raging and the sun was exceedingly bright. Great fun afternoon on the shingle...
I had a really good evening photographing this beach on Thursday evening. I spotted the beach while on the coast path last week and thought it had potential for a visit at low tide. Only saw three people over a four hour period !!!........weathers looking good for the next few days.....have a great weekend.

Last week i had very fascinating walk around the estearn bit of Regent canal (from Islingtone to Limehouse basin). Such a variety of impressions and the combination of the urbanity with nature.. And i found out a lot of new stuff for myself in London. I am not sure how much of it to show as it could look monotonious if you have not walked yourself... But i really recommend this walk for Londoners...
Have a great week ahead of you!

Went out tonight to have some photos for upload.
This one is an illumination of Tokyo Midtown.
Came across this weather beaten tree while hiking on Bodmin Moor. Used a 10 stop filter to help give a sense of movement.
Infrared.......Another image from my day on Bodmin Moor. These locations are always good for finding isolated trees. You can just see the fir trees in the distance from my previous image. I was really pleased with the skies on this day, the weather was showery with great cloud formations when the rain cleared. Your feedback will be most appreciated.
Great name for a boat,"Don't Panic" well i have a few times on this beach when you see how fast the tide comes in.

"Talking alone, but with the sea"
I like to come to see you when there are few people, when I hear your whispers, your murmurs and your beats without you exert yourself.
Sometimes you tell me that you are tired of winds and gravity, of coming and going, of going up and down.
Sometimes you tell me that you are vital, beautiful and at other times you feel fatigued, defeated.
You wrap me without asking permission, I give you my body without knowing where my feet are, then time flows and I know that soon I should leave but you have already left on my skin a memory of salt. Now I can sleep, I carry you in my ears and from the houses of men endures in my memory, I come from you and I will return to you, at night.
I set out to experiement with long exposures while waiting for the sun to get a bit lower in the sky. It as been quite dry so the river is very low with little flow. Any-how I never intended to take this as a shot to put onto Flickr but I find it oddly attractive, I`m not sure why...
Another image from this photo shoot. The patterns over the beach were constantly changing, as the surf washed over it under bright sunlight.
Another image from this shoot. If you work your way down the rocks close to the water, I find that you will not be disturbed and can concentrate on your photography.....not that I'm antisocial or anything !!!
A handheld, longer exposure produced a lovely motion visual from an exploding firework one New Year's Eve in Sydney.

There are times where you freeze the action with a fast shutter speed, yes the image may be pleasing, but with the use of a 3 stop ND filter you can achieve a more compelling image as you can see. give it a try as the tide is coming in and with your camera on manual, get your shutter speed to 0.8 second and snap away, this bank is on a slope so the movement is recorded as the water is receding.
