S-317 is working hard as she hauls a 'down' standard gauge goods train through Somerton. In June 1982, this loco was hauling an 'up' s.g. goods when it ran up the rear of the Spirit Of Progress which had broken down in thick fog at Barnawartha. The two crew on the loco were killed in the collision with the CS van on the rear of the Spirit. The CS van was destroyed as was the nose and cab of the 'S' class. S-317 was rebuilt and continues in service to this day painted in yellow and black for the SSR railway. 12:53pm, Saturday 6th September, 1980.
W111
Since most of the chassis and drivetrain were to be unified with the W111 saloon, the focus was on the interior and exterior styling. Mercedes chose the work of designer Paul Bracq, which featured a more square, subtle rear-end treatment evocative of the clean modern styling of his mid-1960s, where the rest of the model line adopted the pointed-fin "Heckflosse" styling. Interiors were unique, and lavish compared to the W111 sedans. Production began in late 1961. Unlike the previous generation of 2-door ponton series, the 220 SE designation was used for both the coupé and convertible. Options included a sliding sunroof for the coupé, automatic transmission, power steering and individual rear seats.

Indian Ocean
Mount Kilimanjaro (shining mountain in Swahili) near the equator
has a permanent snow and ice cap.
It is the tallest free-standing mountain on Earth.
The volcano consists of 3 volcanos.
"Kibo" is the highest and youngest cone. It has not been active in modern times, but steam and sulfur are still emitted.
This giant volcano is accompanied by about 20 other nearby volcanos.
As seen here, in 1970, it is still covered in snow and ice, and sometimes visible from passing ships in the Indian Ocean.
Often mistaken for being a cloud .
With its 5.895 meters it is the highest mountain of Africa.
Ptolemaeus mentioned the vulcano in 200AD.
