Sapphire 234s had a 4-cylinder 2.2 litre engine, but a similar 236 model with a 2.3 litre 6-cylinder unit was also offered.

We found the sapphire at a Gem Show and had the mounting made by Quest Jewelers in 2006.

We really liked the Lotus Pool area on the Sapphire Princess. This is an "adults only" pool with 2 jacuzzi's. Of course, while cruising Alaska, the air temperature was a bit "brisk", but we enjoyed it.

seen in Mesnes St the white destination really stand out on these buses, although the destination blinked while looking through the viewer the camera caught it

On January 18, 2005, the Sapphire Princess visited Sydney for the first time. Providing accommodation for up to 2,670 passengers and featuring 18 decks, the 116,000 tons ship is just under 290 m long (951 ft) and 37.5 m / 123 ft wide (48.15 m / 158 ft including bridge wing). And with a height of 62.5 m / 205 ft, the ship is also too tall to sail under the Sydney Harbour Bridge, so it can only dock at Circular Quay.

Docked at San Pedro: Neptune's Reef and Pool - with Vincent Thomas Bridge in the Background

The titanium metal in the crystal lattice structure causes the blue colour in the saphire.
