A warmer-ish day earlier this month, an opportunity to wear these fun shiny running tights. Unfortunately they don't stay up well, I need to find a way to wear a belt or add a tie to them.

These Nike Run Free 3s have really helped me keep at the running. I've logged hundreds of miles on these at the Town Lake hike and bike trail, and they're holding up pretty darn well.

Alright, here's the story behind this hip shot
of one really, really silly swamp dog ;-)---
In the last post you remember I mentioned
all about the intense insect invasion here ;-0
OK, the scooter/sidecar is about 10-12 meters
away from where I'm at while taking this photo.
For less then 10 seconds I stopped and started
adjusting the D300, Tokina 11-16 2.8 WA lens !
During that brief time swarms of mosquitoes
and busy busy black flies, jumped my body !
Immediately I did a 180 and started escaping
their invasive move. And, while escaping I
kept the shutter button pressed without
having the camera close to my eye.
I'm running forward while my right
hand/arm is behind me with the
camera still being activated ;-)
Now, I knew the possibility of making
a keeper was extremely slim, if at all.
But I had to get out of there quick !
Once home and uploading there was
many blurry, out of focus photographs.
Except one. Well it's kinda sorta useable.
