Greetings from Baghdad
Viewed from a train waiting to depart from platform 1 at Redhill, is a late running Victoria bound service arriving in platform 2. As the class 377 formation draws to a halt, a late running Thameslink service speeds through on the Down Fast line destined for Horsham.
The slowish shutter speed has captured the Southern 377, but the speeding Thameslink is blurred. I quite like the way I've (purely by chance!) captured the 'ThamesLink' legend on the side of the class 700 between the lamp post and the front of the 377.
The Thameslink train was originally planned to stop at Redhill (and other intermediate stations), but due to late running it ran fast from East Croydon to Gatwick Airport to make up lost time.

It took this running take off to get this snow goose in summer plumage off of the water.

The Q Class from the Bluebell Railway has a final days running at the GCR before returning home. Seen here at Rabbit Bridge.
running in ordinary running shoes is not real fun on snowy paths...
therefore, i got myself a new pair of trail running shoes with gore-tex. what a relief!
I love this pic! A good looking blonde and I were comparing our turquoise running shoes when everyone else threw there shoes in too, which resulted in this spontaneous pic.
Our Dogue de Bordeaux running across a field overlooking East Meon in Hampshire. He does not look this fierce normally.

We took a walk near our campsite in La Motte Ternant, we walked calmly but the bull was running really hard, I was glad there was a fence, even this small one it proved sufficient.

We wandelden in de buurt van onze camping in La Motte Ternant, the stier kwam hard aanrennen en ik was blij dat er een hekje was, een paar prikkeldraadjes blijken voldoende om een stier tegen te houden!
I swear I will never fully understand mechanical things.I'd arranged with a local AX enthusiast to come and see why it wouldn't start. He was coming on Saturday morning,so on Friday evening I moved all my cars and junk around so we could get the jump leads onto it.
I turn the engine over every few weeks and push the car a few feet up and down, work the brakes etc,in order to stop everything seizing up.
In the two years since the car last ran it has never given so much as a cough when I've turned it over, but for some inexplicable reason this time it sprang into life! I mean sprang too; it started almost instantly.
So.....when Pete came round on Saturday we had a running motor to look at....
It was nice to meet another enthusiast too.
South Midland ECW bodied Bristol VR 636 (CJO 469R) was the only vehicle in the fleet to ever be repainted into NBC style Poppy red and white livery. This was done to use up stocks of red paint held in store at the workshops in Chipping Norton. At an unknown date 636 is seen in a layby on the Bicester to Aylesbury road whilst running light to take up service on the 260 route which ran between Aylesbury and Thame. Note the red destination blind, a feature of Bicester based vehicles at the time.
