I was in an open pasture, with my dogs about 10-20 yards in front of me. This deer came running out of the treeline to my left and ran through my dogs and through another 75 yards of pasture before hitting some more trees. I thought that was really unusual, but being that time of year, I'm guessing she had a couple fawns burrowed in the tall grass and my dogs were getting close. If so, it worked, because they quit whatever they were sniffing and started chasing her.:)

The idea originally was to have a werewolf chasing him in the background but after a few tests I decided it was better without. The idea came from us both owning coats like the two main characters from An American Werewolf In London
I have been undertaking a lot of Ratcliffe "project" shots recently in an attempt to make a calender suitable for colleauges & friends at the power station. Here are a couple of my latest and the calender is now completed. Lets hope it goes down ok & perhaps its time to divert my attentions onto other subjects :-)

We took a walk near our campsite in La Motte Ternant, we walked calmly but the bull was running really hard, I was glad there was a fence, even this small one it proved sufficient.

We wandelden in de buurt van onze camping in La Motte Ternant, the stier kwam hard aanrennen en ik was blij dat er een hekje was, een paar prikkeldraadjes blijken voldoende om een stier tegen te houden!
The class 313 unites between Moorgate - Stevenage via Hertford North and Welwyn Garden City via Potters Bar are very soon to be replaced by brand new class 717 units. 05th February 2019.
This is a stallion (breeding male) that we nick-named, "Fabio" because of his fabulous looking hair and attitude. He is running off from his harem to defend it from another stallion trying to take his females and foals away from him. He was one pissed off pony!!
EDIT: "Fabio" was featured in a Japanese article about big horses (they even had a pic of a big Moose).
