Four BLM Mustangs enjoying turnout at their trainer's ranch in Texas.
In the lead is Artista, a 6 year old mustang who was trained in 2008 by Robert Carlson for the Extreme Mustang Makeover. He was bought back by Robert and is now the mounted shooting horse of Robert's co-trainer and love Madeleine LeClerc.
Second horse is a young mustang just off the BLM. His name is Riley, and he was adopted shortly after this photo.
The third horse is Tavaci, my own mustang love! Tavaci is a 3 year old gelding who was rounded up off the Nevada range when he was 1 year old. He's lived in holding after that until I picked him out in September of last year. He is now my partner in training on the trail. He has big shoes to fill but he's trying hard!
The last horse running is Wildcat, the winner of 2010 TN Extreme Mustang Makeover with his trainer Madeleine LeClerc. He's a rockstar.
Hope people aren't sick of red squirrel shots yet I managed to accumulate quite a few yesterday! To start with was trying to get them running and jumping, then getting them sat in the rain, then trying to get them jumping in the rain. Luckily for me they obliged! Was at the limit of the shutter speed here hence the log is blurred with panning for the running squirrel. Just back from a walk at Fairburn which seems to have turned into Watership Down! Nice end to the day after having to work a bank holiday!
A car I had built for the now cancelled extended version of I am the Night (but it's still at the end of the film).
I built this several years ago along with a custom bat-mobile so I could have a really cool Joker and batman car chase through the city. I hadn't revealed it before because I was planning to save it for the film.
Overall, this was a particularly difficult build, as I find to be the case most of the time with cars. however, I do find cars to be particularly rewarding.
I ended up using a few of the techniques I learned for this to make the protagonist's car for Welcome to Darkmoor.
