The last mud pit in the 2017 Mud Run Race at Camp Pendleton's annual event. There was only a quarter of a mile left at this point. Tough race but fun to photograph.
Well, I finally have my team assembled, so without further ado, let's get to introductions.
Left to right:
Shanna: Human Hunter.
Equipment: 2 E-269 Blasters, sniper variant, skin tight exo-suit.
Companion: A brown Wolfhound.
Samuel: Human Bruiser.
Equipment: Seismic Sledge-hammer, not much else.
Henderson: Elf Agent.
Equipment: Bionic arm implant, Sonic Blaster, and whatever he's got hidden in his Trench coat and briefcase....he wouldn't tell me.
T.J.: Human Street Samurai.
Equipment: Titanium Shield, Carbide Falchion, Skin tight power armor, anything else he can get his greedy little hands on.
and in back, Boomer: Human Technophile.
Equipment: One "Creatively Acquired" Military Exo-Suit Variant MJ-291, one Hold-out Blaster.
I'm actually really happy with these guys, and this is my first ever try at a light box set up!
Note: I actual did intentionally blur the Exo-suit a bit, I wanted it to be blurred while the guns were clear.

PARKRUN #238 - (Wycombe Rye parkrun)
Having set myself the challenge to run in under 35 minutes by my 250th parkrun, my times have slowly been slipping the wrong way, so it was a bit of a surprise to run about 2.5 minutes faster than last week. After speaking with the Clinical Exercise Physiologist at the cardiac rehab about the CI (chronotropic incompetence), I don't really expect to run a sub 35 again and my main challenge is now just to get to 250 parkruns and then review the way forward - still, not too bad for a veteran with a dicky ticker.

Time: 36:16 - (my overall PB remains 26:32, post Covid PB 30:31, CI PB 35:40, AFib PB 36:45)

My sweet Rosie's race ended 12/22/2019, the Sunday before Christmas. She was with me for more than 12 years. Rosie was a rescue that I adopted in March of 2007, when she was a little over a year old. She was a loving and faithful companion til the end. I'm going to miss her sweet wolf face.
