Last Sunday I ran the Army Run half marathon race held in Ottawa. Finished in 1:48:38 and was on track for a personal best but the humidity got to me during the last few kilometres so I ended up losing over 3 minutes. It was also pouring rain for the last 8 kilometres so my shoes were soaked and heavy. I did enjoy the race however.
This is a shot of me at crossing the Alexandra Bridge at the halfway mark. Didn't realize I was being photographed and looked so intense. My son calls this look the marathoner's crazy eyes as this is what a lot of runners look like near the end of a full marathon race.

Bridge works seem to be back on after a delay. The two piles for the river crossing are now in position.

I was on-assignment for iRun Magazine this past Sunday covering the Ottawa Army Run. The first wave was a 5K run of individuals and soldiers, many of whom had lost a limb.
Running 5KM with one (or no) leg(s) before most of us woke up - that's determination.
First run of electric unit 671.002 (971.002) after instalation of mobile part of ETCS (level 2). Unit drived from the Košice (where the instalation was made), through the Žilina to Bratislava (where this picture was taken) and back to Žilina. Unit 671.002 is the first of 10 units of class 671, which are going to have mobile part of ETCS for now. Next one is 671.008 (971.008).
