Technical note: Again and again, I'm amazed about architectural compositions using lenses offering a 12 or even 10mm hyper-wide field of view. For my camera, there is no such option. ("my" 7mm ~ 14mm full frame).
As a workaround, I have experimented with taking a pano instead. This one has 5 individual captures in portrait format, stitched to an image yielding a field of view of 141°, which corresponds to ~6mm focal length 😉

When I realized that the sunrise was going to be better than I had excpected, I had to run to get to a better vantage point. Yesterday's and today's images were the result of my running. It was fun!
It was a last minute decision by the OSR to run their wedge plow as they only got a few tenths of mile before realizing they weren’t going to make it. Thank to Mr. Host for the phone call and away I went from Vaughan. Make it to Salford with 2 minutes to spare. After a full day of following the plough around we set up for one last blast just outside of St. Thomas where it rammed through the biggest drift at Gladstone. What an incredibly fun and impromptu day.
Snow in Hunt Valley, Maryland along Western Run. Was able to get out for a few minutes into the snow and snap some captures. Nice to be able to do after working in the office while the snow fell across Baltimore today.
With their final consist build, the A&O departs south through Berkley Run Junction. Here, the CSX Mountain Subdivision ends and the train will continue its journey over the Cowen Subdivision, a CSX line on long-term lease to the A&O.
Well this was a day when the weather was dry then wet then dry again and yes you guessed it time to run back to the car, we made just as it hammered on the car, don`t know about the guy on the beach here though.
I said to Jane when we got back in the car I think I have a title for this shot .

This beach is about half way between Seahouses and Bamburgh in Northumberland , luckily there was a short path through the sand dunes to the lay by where we had left the car.
Technically, I guess they're hatched to run. Regardless, the greater roadrunner is aptly named. They can run at quite a pace. We've seen them in the deep desert or suburban parks like this one. Their tails and crest seem to be quite dynamic - always raising and lowering. Cool birds.
