I spotted this wild turkey on the outside of the fence one day last year, so he may still be at large.
Happy Thanksgiving to my U.S. Flickr friends who are celebrating and a great weekend ahead to all!
We went on a few organised excursions with 'The Gambia Experience'. With this trip with travelled through the countryside on the back of a 4x4. One of the most memoral bits of the journey was the amount of children that run and wave at you as you drive by. This is one of my favourite shots taken by my girlfriend. I'll probably upload a few - but this is my fave!

Leith Run enters the Ohio River near Newport Ohio. There is also a recreation area and camp ground here . In the spring when the Ohio tends to be muddy and high the water from the creek backs up and floods the stream basin leading into the river. We had a pretty wet early May and so there was some flooding when I visited in early May. As I visited the sky alternated between threatening clouds and sun. I liked the contrast of the rain clouds moving in but was happy when the clearer skys prevailed.

Ronnie the Rhino.
The hat saga continues. So apparently Jeffrey has been spreading the word to his pals that it's ok to steal my hat. Sorry Ronnie, not this time.
