About a mile away from the mainline at Rocky, the West Local works its way south down the Rocky Flat Industrial Lead. The local picked up these five hoppers from the aggregate plant at the end of the spur. They wyed the train (turned it around) on the wye left behind from the days of Rocky Flats about a half mile to the north.

Salomon Run Barcelona is a footrace around the Montjuïc hill, through stairs, parks, streets and emblematic spots of Barcelona. The track will be 10km and 180m of positive slope with stairs, dirt sections, sections of asphalt and sidewalks with some stretches of steep slopes both upstream and downstream. The race should be done running but it is allowed to walk in the toughest sections.

My daughter did the color run yesterday in San Diego. The event raised money for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego County. Many of the "little brothers" applied color to the passing runners. This made for some cool photo opportunities. The only tricky part was keeping the color away from my camera!
Each kilometer of the event is associated with a designated color: yellow, orange, pink, or blue. As the runners/walkers reach the Kilometer COLOR Zones, they are blitzed by volunteers, sponsors, and staff with COLOR. All products are 100% natural and safe. You could eat the stuff if you’d like, although my daughter said it tasted terrible!
I thought it was a decent shot, but it was hard to do. :)

A service I'd yet to cover since it's arrival in September is the '5k' variant of the overhauled service 5 cross-city circular.
Service 5k is a Monday-Saturday only three journey service in one direction from Hull Interchange heading eastbound and following the usual 5 all the way until ASDA Kingswood, where it'll terminate.
The journeys run as: one in the peak circa 5:30pm, and the final two runs of the evening circa 10:50pm and 11:20pm.
