Round barns were popular from early 1900s to about 1920 in the Northwest and Midwestern part of the USA, Some were also buit in Quebec, Canada close to the USA border.

The above barn has been well maintained and is located in southern Québec and I took the photo back in September of 2017.

I learned that the main reason they were built is to save building cost and here is a link to an article about the subject from 1911: www.thebarnjournal.org/round/efficiency.html

I really like the natural setting here.

Never seen so many aperture blades in a lens (I'm sure there's lots of lenses with more!), I count 20 so bokeh is always perfectly round. Beautifully engineered, I think I might have to look into some of these older Canon primes. think this ones from the 50s

Petit extrait d'un séjour sur l'ile de ré avec alternance de pluie et de canicule...

This photo of the Round Island Lighthouse was taken from over 1 mile away on Mackinac Island as the morning sun was casting warm light across the lighthouse and round island treetops during golden hour in the spring of 2022.

This barn was awesome, Thanks to the kind Folks that owned this farm they let us go in and look around, i was trying to get a sunset but the sun was hidden in the clouds so i walked on the other side of the barn and this is what i found, thanks my friends i hope you like it
