This picture highlights three things that are comforting. This rocking chair was a gift from our son. It is part of a set on our front porch. It is a great place to relax and watch people pass by.
The blanket is from Costco and I use it every night when I sit on the couch and watch TV. It is very warm.
And lastly, I am always reading a book. I have been in a Book Group for over 15 years and it is fun to read things I wouldn't normally pick out on my own. For fiction and non-fiction, I usually read eBooks, so I can read in bed. But I thought the Kindle wouldn't look as nice as a regular book for this photo. I have lots of hardback cookbooks, instructional books, and art books. This one is a cookbook.

I've been listening to Eric Clapton this morning and have the biggest smile on my face. Here is a song to go with this image, it's called Rocking Chair - www.youtube.com/watch?v=klttMLy9fAY.
Follow me and set up your rocker in front of a roaring fire and play the song. Great, right?

With the holidays just around the corner, Stormtrooper Bruce knows things are about to get hectic.
So, he has escaped to the Secret Room, found hidden behind his quarters years ago, in order to take a few minutes to sit, relax and clear his head… and make a list or two to try and get organized this year.

Going back through some of my Alaska photos from last summer and ran across this one. It was taken at the Kenai Fjords Glacier Lodge where we were lucky enough to stay for three nights...an eco-lodge literally out in the middle of Kenai Fjords National Park with nothing else around. Anyway, I loved sitting out here in the evenings enjoying a glass of wine and watching the eagles, seals and bears go by.
we adopted a neighbourhood cat . and she sleeps outside , 3 years now . we don;'t get really cold winters . so she is alright
Here is my third build for my Iron Builder round against Letranger Absurde.
The special part is the hunting"pithfork".
Spotted this on a walk in the FAN section of Richmond. There was a breeze and the chair was rocking slightly.
