Youngster scores some candy at Bremen's 2016 Frei Markt Parade. The 2016 festival was my first Frei Markt. It is a charming fall festival. During the Frei Markt parade, buckets of candy shower the spectators from the people marching in the parade and on the floats (which seem to mostly be excuses for people to be in a parade).
Captured sometime around 1989–1990, this moment shows me with my mother’s Citroën 2CV—effectively my first car—parked near the old ferry staging area in Horten. The image was taken on film, adding that unmistakable analog character: soft grain, muted tones, and the feel of a time when every frame mattered. It’s a snapshot from the early days of both driving and photography, a quiet pause preserved through the lens of classic film.

National Pinup Day is celebrated annually on April 22nd and was founded by Mission Tattoo in 2019. The day's purpose is to celebrate and promote the classic pin-up culture. Since the 1940s, pin-up has been an integral part of American culture. Pin-up refers to paintings, drawings, other illustrations, and photographs of models. They see the appeal in popular culture and have been delighting fans for a long time. The day comes with retro vibes that coincide with the origins of pin-up models. On this day feel free to dress up in vintage or retro clothes. I think my entire wardrobe at this point can be considered vintage. Apparently it's Earth Day too. Does this still count? Doncaster is a large market town in South Yorkshire, England. The Isetta is an Italian-designed microcar built under license in a number of different countries, including Spain, Belgium, France, Brazil, Germany, and the United Kingdom. Because of its egg shape and bubble-like windows, it became known as a bubble car, a name later given to other similar vehicles.
In 1955, the BMW Isetta became the world's first mass-production car to achieve a fuel consumption of 3 L/100 km (94 mpg-imp; 78 mpg-US). It was the top-selling single-cylinder car in the world, with 161,728 units sold.
Initially manufactured by the Italian firm Iso SpA, the name Isetta is the Italian diminutive form of ISO, meaning little ISO

A Daisy plant by an old picket fence had so many daisies, I had to capture a photograph. Some digital painting and texture applied in Photoshop and altered to sepia color tones to create a retro feel to this floral image.
