A pair of vintage Volkswagen T3 vans rest quietly under the shade of tall trees. The bright green and white vehicles, symbols of retro charm and freedom, stand side by side on sandy ground at the edge of the forest. Their boxy design and timeless character evoke memories of road trips, camping adventures, and the golden age of travel.
Parked in the hush of a sunlit clearing, the van rests like a seasoned traveler pausing for breath. Its pale body holds countless miles, countless stories, carrying the spirit of freedom and quiet adventure. Around it, the trees lean in, casting dappled light in hues of green and gold, framing the moment with a painter’s touch. It is more than just a vehicle — it is a symbol of escape, of simplicity, of life lived on the open road and nights spent under stars. A fleeting glimpse of timeless wanderlust, captured in the stillness of the forest’s golden hour.

Polish LOT Airlines Embraer E175LR "SP-LIM " in special retro livery visits Dublin from Warsaw.
SP-LIM was delivered to LOT in May 2010.
To celebrate LOT's 90th anniversary, SP-LIM was painted into this special retro livery in December 2018, depicting the carriers colours of the 50's to mid 60's.
There is also some old advertisement posters of LOT from the 1960's inside the cabin.
A little really does mean alLOT.
Happy National Card Playing Day. You all know I’m a fan of the retro style pinups and this national day fits right in. Grab a deck of cards and invite your friends over for a game night on December 28 to celebrate. This unofficial holiday is dedicated to one of the most popular pastimes that has been around since at least the 9th century. A standard pack of cards may be used for playing a variety of card games, with varying elements of skill and chance, some of which are played for money. Some of the top card games include Spades, Poker, Solitaire, Spite and Malice, Hearts, Spoons, Gin Rummy, and a host of others. Or put a hat upside down and see who can fly the most in. Or … use them as props in a pinup model shoot. Anytown, USA, Any time

The furnishing of the grocery is typical for the end of the 18th century. It comes from the Voigt Yard in Faborg. At the high counter, city dwellers and local farmers could buy everything from hemp, tar, grain, tallow candles and spirits, mead, manufactured goods, hardware, coffee, tea, butter and cheese to dyes and spices. Under the ceiling hangs a grille, which was folded down after closing time. Above the counter hangs the beam of a beam scale with carved animal heads, on which scales were hung if necessary.
When I was in Miami there was a car show on Ocean Drive.

Ah, a delightful scene straight out of a nightmare's heart. Here we have the forgotten chamber of whispers, where the walls are thick with secrets and the air is heavy with the echoes of the past. The chair in the center, bathed in an otherworldly glow, isn't just any chair. Oh no, it's an altar of anguish, a throne where countless souls have sat and shared their deepest fears. It's been abandoned, sure, but don't think for a second it doesn't remember every scream, every plea for mercy. And look at those shadows, sprawling across the floor like dark tendrils ready to wrap around the ankles of the unwary. They're just waiting for the next visitor to this forsaken place. Will it be you? Or maybe it already is, and you just haven't realized it yet. Welcome to my domain, where the only thing you can expect is the unexpected. Sweet dreams.
