Aer Lingus Saint Colman Airbus A320, superbly painted in Aer Lingus 1970's fleet livery, rotating off Dublin's runway 28 with the newish control tower in the background.

EI-DVM was delivered to Aer Lingus in March 2011 in a blaze of fanfare to celebrate the airlines 75 years in service.

Known as " retrojet ", allot of the veteran worldwide carriers have been painting their own fleets in past colours, adding some colour & nostalgia.

Parked in the hush of a sunlit clearing, the van rests like a seasoned traveler pausing for breath. Its pale body holds countless miles, countless stories, carrying the spirit of freedom and quiet adventure. Around it, the trees lean in, casting dappled light in hues of green and gold, framing the moment with a painter’s touch. It is more than just a vehicle — it is a symbol of escape, of simplicity, of life lived on the open road and nights spent under stars. A fleeting glimpse of timeless wanderlust, captured in the stillness of the forest’s golden hour.

The furnishing of the grocery is typical for the end of the 18th century. It comes from the Voigt Yard in Faborg. At the high counter, city dwellers and local farmers could buy everything from hemp, tar, grain, tallow candles and spirits, mead, manufactured goods, hardware, coffee, tea, butter and cheese to dyes and spices. Under the ceiling hangs a grille, which was folded down after closing time. Above the counter hangs the beam of a beam scale with carved animal heads, on which scales were hung if necessary.

Polish LOT Airlines Embraer E175LR "SP-LIM " in special retro livery visits Dublin from Warsaw.

SP-LIM was delivered to LOT in May 2010.

To celebrate LOT's 90th anniversary, SP-LIM was painted into this special retro livery in December 2018, depicting the carriers colours of the 50's to mid 60's.

There is also some old advertisement posters of LOT from the 1960's inside the cabin.

A little really does mean alLOT.

Doll: Petite Fashionista Barbie on an old style articulated Fashionista body.

The Algade is the main street of the city. The buildings house workshops and shops.

At the beginning of the Algade lies a 17th century warehouse building. The mansard roof dates from around 1800 and was part of the merchant's farm in Jomfru Ane Gade in Aalborg. It lay on the shore of the Limfjord next to the three-storey building of the farm. The massive framework with the striking cleats below the projecting floor is typical of the Renaissance and forms a contrast to the framework of the younger mansard roof. The entrances at the gable and the cable winches are a characteristic of the storage buildings. Horses used to be tied to the wrought-iron rings in the house wall, today it is more dogs.

The market stalls are replicas of market stalls from the 19th century. Daguerreotypes - an early form of photography - from the 1860s, which show booths at Grabrodre Torv in Copenhagen, served as a model.

The modiste's workshop is on the right hand side in the Algade in a half-timbered building dating back to 1700 from the Kordilgade in Kalundborg. The building was rebuilt in the 18th century with characteristic shutters and is the only building in the whole of Denmark with preserved shutters from the 18th century. Above the entrance hangs a red hat, the symbol of the modists. The sign is from Vejle.

The Renaissance house from Aarhus from around 1650 houses the workshops of the watchmaker and the goldsmith. The entrance to the shop is decorated with a characteristic sign from Odense. In the shop you can visit the watchmaker's warehouse, which consists mainly of foreign, factory-produced watches, which brought domestic artisanal watchmaking to a standstill at the end of the 19th century.

The two gold rings on the sign at the entrance are the goldsmith's trademark. Goldsmiths were probably among the most respected craftsmen, probably because of the precious metals and the often artistic work.
