It was a cool fall morning as I waited for the sun to crest over the mountains in the distance. In a moment, the golden dawn light burst out and started the day. To make it perfect, a rooster began to crow at a distant farm.
I took this photo at the Christmas market on Goetheplatz in Frankfurt.
I focused on the warm glow of the old-fashioned light bulbs, with the blurred golden lights in the background creating a soft, festive feel.

Stingy Lulu’s, the East Village retro-style luncheonette, was opened in 1992 by Karacona Cinar and featured drag queens as waitresses. The storefront later was home to the Hop Devil Grill and was empty for quite some time with for rent signs visible before becoming part of a large Starbucks a few years ago that wraps around the corner of St. Mark's Place and Avenue A. We wonder what happened to those vintage Coca-Cola signs. If anyone knows where these ended up, we would love to know (hopefully they are on display somewhere and were not thrown in a dumpster).

EI-DVM was delivered to Aer Lingus in March 2011 in a blaze of fanfare to celebrate the airlines 75 years in service.
Known as " retrojet ", allot of the veteran worldwide carriers have been painting their own fleets in past colours, adding some colour & nostalgia.
