土耳其-爱琴海地区-Izmir省-切什梅之晨

High angle view of marina area in downtown Çeşme, a coastal town on Çeşme Peninsula by Aegean Sea, in Izmirn province, Aegean region of Turkey.

Unlike many resort towns in this region, Çeşme has retained a local population and flavour. Only 8km from the Greek island of Chios (Sakız), the town has a long seafront perfect for promenading, a magnificent castle built by the Genoese and a bustling merkez (commercial centre) with plenty of shops and cheap eateries. Popular with weekending İzmiris and with those who balk at the high prices and style overload at nearby Alaçatı, it's an excellent base for exploring the region.

A young, smiling blonde woman models a casual and trendy outfit featuring dark wash, distressed flare jeans and a white t-shirt knotted at the waist, posing confidently in a studio setting.

The high-rise jeans are snug through the hip and thigh and feature a significant, wide flare at the bottom, reminiscent of a modern bell-bottom style. Her hands are casually tucked into the front pockets, highlighting the look's relaxed and carefree vibe, perfect for fashion inspiration or retail photography.

Peace To All,

It's been a long while Here is my speaker wall. All speakers I've found in the streets, thriftshops, and Salvation Army. I fixed them all. They are all working and connected via speaker switch and different receivers.

Speakers are:

Polk Audio

Cerwin Vega RE 16

Celestions

Genesis Model 1

Spendor BC2

Nova/Pioneer Hybrid

ADS L710

Technics

Infinity RS-6

Enjoy..

Blessings To All.

I love this look that I managed to curate over a period of time. I had planned it for a while and had to wait for an opportunity to try it. I’d like to think that had I made different life choices years ago, this could have been me living my life now. A whimsical thought? Perhaps. But this is me being my most natural I think. And I love being a redhead! ☺️

The gate features an ornate coat of arms, and the stone walls and medieval architecture evoke the historical atmosphere of Siklós Castle. The individuals, dressed in mid-20th-century clothing, smile toward the camera, capturing a moment of sightseeing and heritage exploration.

Traditional houses and cobblestone street in Alaçatı, a pretty little town on Çeşme Peninsula by Aegean Sea, in Izmirn province, Aegean region of Turkey.

Alacati has been famous for its architecture, vineyards and windmills for over 150 years has now made its name in the world of windsurfing and kitesurfing, with its crystal clear water, consistent and steady wind (for an average of 300 days a year). Alacati is one of the most traditional towns in Turkey with stone houses, narrow streets, boutique hotels and restaurants with tables on the streets.

This is most of the upstairs of my little house. The bed, pillow, rug, blue and red-lined cubbies, ladybug, mushroom, clock, and bunny are all from the Megahouse Retro Style Collection (Happy Story Series, 2004). The rest of the items are from the Re-ment room series, which I have heard called "Room Data," "My Petite Room," and "Room Collection." There are five sets in the room collection, and this photo shows items from four of them, the Scandinavian room, the modern room, the princess cabinet, and the Japanese room.

By the way, I got the idea of putting the Retro Style/Room Data furniture into this house (Sylvanian Families Rose Cottage) from these very cute Flickr photos of the "Figumate House": www.flickr.com/search/?q=figumate house&w=all. So it's not my idea at all. : )

The term "collective memory" denotes the aggregate of memories, knowledge, and data that a social group holds, which is intrinsically linked to the group's identity. The term "collective memory" in English and its French counterpart "la mémoire collective" emerged in the latter half of the 19th century. Maurice Halbwachs, a philosopher and sociologist, further developed this concept in his 1925 work, «Les cadres sociaux de la mémoire». Both expansive and intimate social collectives can create, disseminate, and inherit collective memory.

Contrary to the term "collective memory," which is somewhat ambiguously defined yet generally accepted, the notion of "collective memories" is inherently problematic. Memories are the results of the individual acts of recollection, making the idea of "collective memories" paradoxical. Сontemporary diffusion models utilize vast amounts of often unidentified data, including historical and personal old photographs, vintage postcards, and other kinds of publicly circulating images. These models may be seen as involved in the prompts-driven singular acts of remembrance, producing images that paradoxically represent "collective memories," something otherwise unfeasible and ultimately, non-existent.
