The evening was young making the Pacific very restless!
This was my second attempt to shoot the sunset at the Scripps Pier at La Jolla. Saw a ton of candy clouds from my window and thought would be great to head to the Pier and shoot an orange-pink sunset. But on my 10min drive my hopes plummeted and clouds disappeared like they were eaten up the ocean. But was there anyways and found a parking spot and hauled the gear to the beach.
This was one of the shots that I like for the receding wave giving up the orange red sand beneath. Though there was a bright orange lamp in the back that I think amplified the colors on the sand.

The clouds were thick in some places and thin in others... The restless early morning clouds seemed to affect the mood of the waves.
A very uncomplicated shot, which does not need much in the way of explanation.
The rocks are from the coastline of the Acadia National Park in Maine USA.

Meisen sind zahlenmäßig die häufigsten Gäste in meinem Garten. Sie sind aber auch die unruhigsten, ständig in Bewegung und man hat selten mehr als eine Sekunde Zeit sie anzuvisieren, scharf zu stellen und auszulösen. Wenn man es schafft die Hektik aus dieser Situation etwas herauszunehmen wird das fotografieren leichter. Für dieses Bild habe ich einen kleinen Ast einen halben Meter neben meine Futtersäule gesteckt. Dieser Ast dient den Vögeln jetzt als "Wartehäuschen" wenn an der Futtersäule gerade Stau ist. Die Meise schaut ungeduldig wann ein Platz (von dreien) frei wird. Wenn es zu lange dauert, dann fliegt sie auch mal einfach drauf und verjagt die Konkurrenz. Geduld gehört definitiv nicht zu den Stärken einer Kohlmeise.
Tits are the most frequent guests in my garden. But they are also the most restless, constantly moving and you rarely have more than a second to find them in the viewfinder, focus and take the shot. If you manage to take the hustle and bustle out of this situation, taking photos becomes easier. For this picture I stuck a small perch half a meter next to my bird feeder. This branch now serves as a “bus stop” for the birds when there is a traffic jam at the feeder. The tit watches impatiently to see when one slot (out of three) becomes available. If it takes too long, then it might just fly on the feeder driving away the competition. Patience is definitely not one of a great tit's strengths.
