The evening was young making the Pacific very restless!
This was my second attempt to shoot the sunset at the Scripps Pier at La Jolla. Saw a ton of candy clouds from my window and thought would be great to head to the Pier and shoot an orange-pink sunset. But on my 10min drive my hopes plummeted and clouds disappeared like they were eaten up the ocean. But was there anyways and found a parking spot and hauled the gear to the beach.
This was one of the shots that I like for the receding wave giving up the orange red sand beneath. Though there was a bright orange lamp in the back that I think amplified the colors on the sand.

Juvenile male Ruby-throated Hummingbird moving around on the perch. They can't walk on the perch so they have to fly to move around. Thanks again for visiting!

A septuagenarian man carries his two-year-old grandson in his arms just outside of a local Baptist church.
During the hourlong mass, the little boy's mother has noticed him continually moving around their seat, feeling bored already. So, she requested his father to take the boy outside on the street so that he could not cause any disturbance anymore.
