Checking out the supply of insects in the backyard

This snow monkey was restless as it was chilling cold outside with snow flakes falling from the sky and Onsen water was too hot to remain inside for long.

Pleasure boat operating out of Teignmouth, Devon, offering bay trips, mackerel fishing, dolphin watching and short cruises to Brixham and Dartmouth. Currently trading under the name Riviera Cruises.

The boat was built in 1965 by Hook Brothers of Teignmouth and is the last of the three boats built by them.

Fun little journal page. The word restless was taken from a copy of an older journal page. It just seemed to fit!

At night we went to shoot Kluchevskoy - acting stratovolcano on the east of Kamchatka. It is the highest active volcano on the Eurasia. Its height varies from 4750 to 4850 meters or more above sea level. The reddish glow on the right side - lava flow reflected from clouds.

This breath is not smooth, this mind not still.

The dust is heavy beneath the bed.

Even in the storm, I sit and breathe.

New life is near. I bow my head.

An old Gulf service station sits abandoned along I-35 in Moore, Texas, watching the big rigs stream endlessly by.

Night, 1/4 moon & hideously bright billboard to camera left. Two pops of a red-gelled Vivitar 283 under the canopy and one blue pop in the garage.

See my "Texas Ghost Towns by Night" article in Texas Escapes Online Magazine for more on why I love photographing old places like this.

I had a chance to shoot with the lovely and leggy Cassie at our last pre-Stay at Home group shoot. I think this was Cassie's first shoot ever - it definitely was our first shoot together. What a fun young lady - she stands 6' 2" in bare feet. She's very easy to shoot with - hopefully this was the first of many shoots.

I took these photos in March 2020 in Caldwell, Idaho.

Another study from the Romanesque gateway to Bristol Abbey - now the Cathedral. The variety and imagination in some of these designs amazes me.

Not sure If i got the angle on this one quite right, but pleased enough to post :-)

A cloud passing infront of the sun contributed to this photo of beautiful Anansi. She's a brown spotted tabby with white, thou with this lenght of the fur, spots become rather blurry.

Nothing to do but scuff down

the graveyard road behind the playground,

past the name-stones lined up in rows

beneath their guardian pines,

on out into the long, low waves of plains

that dissolved time. We'd angle off

from fence and telephone line, through

ribbon-grass that closed behind as though

we'd never been, and drift toward the bluff

above the river-bend where the junked pickup

moored with its load of locust-skeletons.

Stretched across the blistered hood, we let

our dresses catch the wind while clouds above

dimmed their pink to purple, then shadow-blue—

So slow, we listened to our own bones grow.
