I've seen this woman at the side of the road in my town, day in, day out. Dead of winter, and like today, middle of summer. She is tiny, and always has this intense look on her face; it never changes.
I smiled at her one time as she stood on the sidewalk, and I was at a red light. She glared back at me. I continued to smile at her, and for some reason, I feel very tender towards this woman.

De repente, de la nada. Estábamos tan tranquilos en Estampa cuando ha aparecido nuestra Unidad de Serigrafía Móvil abriéndose paso entre los visitantes. Como veis en la foto la estamos sujetando. Cualquier día nos llaman de cualquier sitio y nos dicen que ha aparecido allí. Sola. Sin nosotros.
En la Sede Institucional de la Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria se ha presentado la XII edición del Encuentro de Repentistas “Verseando con Ingenio” organizada por Coros y Danzas de Ingenio y la Asociación de Verseadores Canarios "Ochosílabas", evento que reunirá en la mencionada villa y en los municipios de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Santa María de Guía y La Aldea de San Nicolás a verseadores, repentistas y trovadores de Argentina, Colombia y Canarias.

The beginning, I really think that place is safe. Later, he was the first disappeared. I was still hesitant, really naive to think that the cat is because a Quarter change of hiding.

A arca de Noé
Sete em cores, de repente
O arco-íris se desata
Na água límpida e contente
Do ribeirinho da mata.
O sol, ao véu transparente
Da chuva de ouro e de prata
Resplandece resplendente
No céu, no chão, na cascata.
E abre-se a porta da Arca
De par em par: surgem francas
A alegria e as barbas brancas
Do prudente patriarca
Noé, o inventor da uva
E que, por justo e temente
Jeová, clementemente
Salvou da praga da chuva.
Tão verde se alteia a serra
Pelas planuras vizinhas
Que diz Noé: "Boa terra
Para plantar minhas vinhas!"
E sai levando a família
A ver; enquanto, em bonança
Colorida maravilha
Brilha o arco da aliança.
Ora vai, na porta aberta
De repente, vacilante
Surge lenta, longa e incerta
Uma tromba de elefante.
E logo após, no buraco
De uma janela, aparece
Uma cara de macaco
Que espia e desaparece.
Enquanto, entre as altas vigas
Das janelinhas do sótão
Duas girafas amigas
De fora a cabeça botam.
Grita uma arara, e se escuta
De dentro um miado e um zurro
Late um cachorro em disputa

A Arca desconjuntada
Parece que vai ruir
Aos pulos da bicharada
Toda querendo sair.

As aves, por mais espertas

Pelas janelas abertas.

Junto à porta de saída
Lutam os bichos de pelo
Pela terra prometida.

Ruge soberbo o leão
"Também sou filho de Deus!"
Um protesta; e o tigre — "Não!"
Afinal, e não sem custo
Em longa fila, aos casais
Uns com raiva, outros com susto
Vão saindo os animais.
Os maiores vêm à frente
Trazendo a cabeça erguida
E os fracos, humildemente
Vêm atrás, como na vida.

Are you ready to stand before God if you died today?
The Bible declares that one day you will die and then stand face to face with God to be judged. Hebrews 9:27 reads, “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” Nothing in your entire life could be more important than being ready for that day, because it will determine whether you will spend eternity in heaven or in hell.
This judgment will be based on a person’s righteousness, which means to be absolutely perfect and without sin. The Bible says in Acts 17:31, “He hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained…” The man spoken of in this verse is Jesus Christ. This means that your righteousness must match that of Jesus Christ. Can you make it through your entire life without committing one single sin? Jesus Christ did, and He is the one that you will be compared with at your judgment.
On the cross, Jesus took your sin upon Himself. He died a death that you deserve to die and paid the debt that you owe to God. He paid it in full. But you must place your faith and trust in Him if you want to take advantage of that great gift and be free from sin and the punishment of sin forever. Here is how you can do that today.
First, accept the fact that you are a sinner, and that you have broken God’s law. The Bible says in Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”
Second, accept the fact that there is a penalty for sin. The Bible states in Romans 6:23: “For the wages of sin is death…”
Third, accept the fact that you are on the road to hell. Jesus Christ said in Matthew 10:28: “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Also, the Bible states in Revelation 21:8: “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”
Now that is bad news, but here’s the good news. Jesus Christ said in John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Jesus Christ: fully-God and fully-man, without sin, died on the cross a death that he did not deserve in your place. Three days later he rose from the dead defeating sin, death, and the devil forever.
Romans 10:9 & 13 says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved… For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
God requires you to repent of your sin (a change of mind toward God, sin, and self) and put your faith in Jesus Christ alone.
Realize your good deeds will not save you.. that is what religion teaches; the outward appearance. God looks on the heart.
..for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.
1 Samuel 16:7

De repente una habitación fría e impersonal de un hotel en una ciudad lejana se convierte en tu hogar. Te sientas junto a la ventana y no puedes más que sobrecogerte ante el mar de luces que brilla entre la niebla. La ciudad es una maqueta soñada, un decorado rociado con una fina capa de agua para dotarlo de un realismo casi cinematográico.

Hay momentos en los que la vida exige un cambio... Una transición, como las estaciones. La primavera fue maravillosa, pero el verano ya acabó. Desperdiciamos el otoño y ahora de repente hace frío. Tanto que todo se congela. Nuestro amor se duerme y la nieve lo toma por sorpresa. Pero si te quedas dormida en la nieve no sientes llegar ...la muerte
Y de repente algo ocurre, algo se acciona.
Y en ese momento sabes que las cosas van a cambiar...
Y justo entonces intentas recordar en qué momento comenzó todo, y descubres que todo empezó antes de lo que pensabas, mucho antes..
Y es ahí, justo en ese momento cuando te das cuenta de que las cosas sólo ocurren una vez, y que por mucho que te esfuerces ya nunca volverás a sentir lo mismo, ya nunca tendrás la sensación de estar a TRES METROS SOBRE EL CIELO....

De repente ela apareceu toda linda, se exibindo sem pudor, abusando do direito de ser bela, de nos deixar tontos com sua beleza, de nos deixar admirados:
- Como pode de um dia para o outro ela se exibir assim , abusando do direito de ser bela, sem pedir licença pra dona da casa?
PODEROSA! Ela pode! Pode tudo!
Pode ofuscar meus olhos com sua beleza, pode esnobar as outras, desnudar suas cores, exibir suas formas, fazer pose pra fotografia ou não fazer nada! É tão bela!
Pode encher meu dia de beleza, de cor, de amor, de alegria, de espanto... Sim! ! ESPANTO! Ela apareceu ano passado nas mãos de uma amiga muito querida. Veio morar na minha árvore. E não é que ela gostou? Depois de um ano se preparando , se concentrando como a PORTA BANDEIRA da Escola Campeã, ela reapareceu despudoradamente linda!
Encheu de alegria meu coração. Encheu minha alma de amor à vida.
Encheu minha cabeça de espanto e admiração!
Quis ofertá-la a vocês ontem. Mas um dilúvio caiu e fiquei sem luz!
Será que foi ela que fêz de propósito para aparecer só ELA, toda poderosa, hoje, sem concorrentes?
E trouxe o sol com ela! Um lindo fim de semana a todos! Muito AMOR!!!!!!!!
