My Friend: I am asking you the most important question of life. Your joy or your sorrow for all eternity
depends upon your answer. The question is: Are you saved? It is not a question of how good you are, nor if
you are a church member, but are you saved? Are you sure you will go to Heaven when you die?
God says in order to go to Heaven, you must be born again. In John 3:7, Jesus said to Nicodemus, “Ye must be
born again.”
In the Bible God gives us the plan of how to be born again which means to be saved. His plan is simple! You
can be saved today. How?
First, my friend, you must realize you are a sinner. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God”
(Romans 3:23).
Because you are a sinner, you are condemned to death. “For the wages [payment] of sin is death” (Romans
6:23). This includes eternal separation from God in Hell.
“ . . . it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27).
But God loved you so much He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus, to bear your sin and die in your place.
“ . . . He hath made Him [Jesus, Who knew no sin] to be sin for us . . . that we might be made the righteousness
of God in Him” (2 Corinthians 5:21).
Jesus had to shed His blood and die. “For the life of the flesh is in the blood” (Lev. 17:11). “ . . . without
shedding of blood is no remission [pardon]” (Hebrews 9:22).
“ . . . God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
(Romans 5:8).
Although we cannot understand how, God said my sins and your sins were laid upon Jesus and He died in our
place. He became our substitute. It is true. God cannot lie.
My friend, “God . . . commandeth all men everywhere to repent” (Acts 17:30). This repentance is a change of
mind that agrees with God that one is a sinner, and also agrees with what Jesus did for us on the Cross.
In Acts 16:30-31, the Philippian jailer asked Paul and Silas: “ . . . ‘Sirs, what must I do to be saved?’ And they
said, ‘Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved . . . .’ ”
Simply believe on Him as the one who bore your sin, died in your place, was buried, and whom God
resurrected. His resurrection powerfully assures that the believer can claim everlasting life when Jesus is
received as Savior.
“But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe
on His name” (John 1:12).
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13).
Whosoever includes you. Shall be saved means not maybe, nor can, but shall be saved.
Surely, you realize you are a sinner. Right now, wherever you are, repenting, lift your heart to God in prayer.
In Luke 18:13, the sinner prayed: “God be merciful to me a sinner.” Just pray: “Oh God, I know I am a sinner.
I believe Jesus was my substitute when He died on the Cross. I believe His shed blood, death, burial, and
resurrection were for me. I now receive Him as my Savior. I thank You for the forgiveness of my sins, the gift
of salvation and everlasting life, because of Your merciful grace. Amen.”
Just take God at His word and claim His salvation by faith. Believe, and you will be saved. No church, no
lodge, no good works can save you. Remember, God does the saving. All of it!
God’s simple plan of salvation is: You are a sinner. Therefore, unless you believe on Jesus Who died in your
place, you will spend eternity in Hell. If you believe on Him as your crucified, buried, and risen Savior, you
receive forgiveness for all of your sins and His gift of eternal salvation by faith.
You say, “Surely, it cannot be that simple.” Yes, that simple! It is scriptural. It is God’s plan. My friend, believe
on Jesus and receive Him as Savior today.
If His plan is not perfectly clear, read this tract over and over, without laying it down, until you understand
it. Your soul is worth more than all the world.
“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul?” (Mark 8:36).
Be sure you are saved. If you lose your soul, you miss Heaven and lose all. Please! Let God save you this very
moment.
God’s power will save you, keep you saved, and enable you to live a victorious Christian life. “There hath no
temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, Who will not suffer you to be tempted
above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it” (1
Corinthians 10:13).
Do not trust your feelings. They change. Stand on God’s promises. They never change. After you are saved,
there are three things to practice daily for spiritual growth:
Pray -- you talk to God.
Read your Bible -- God talks to you.
Witness -- you talk for God.
You should be baptized in obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ as a public testimony of your salvation, and
then unite with a Bible-believing church without delay. “Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of
our Lord . . . .” (2 Timothy 1:8)
“Whosoever therefore shall confess [testify of] Me before men, him will I confess also before My Father which
is in heaven” (Matthew 10:32).

Y de repente me encontraba viviendo con nativos semidesnudos en una choza minimalista, pero en el sentido literal, ellos no pasaban el metro cincuenta, por eso yo debía agacharme para pasar por los umbrales, fallé una vez y zácate, tiré media choza de un cabezazo, lo juro, les volé el techo, y casi me desmayo del golpe. compusieron como pudieron la choza, y rogamos para que no lloviera aquella noche, ellos se reían a carcajadas por mi blooper, yo también, aunque también con verguenza. Comimos pescado con mandioca. Hasta repetí plato! Genios.
This troubled fellow wasn’t really doing a good job of getting his message across, if you’re going to stand in the middle of Chester on a Friday afternoon and tell all that the world is ending Repent!! It might be a good idea not to divulge that you used to have a “Big Wacky Backy and Alcohol problem” just a thought :)

Cuando el futuro, de repente, se hace imprevisible...
Qué pasa cuando todo lo que damos por sentado desaparece, cuando delante de nuestras narices el futuro se hace de repente imprevisible y cuando ya no controlamos nuestra vida?
Corazones abiertos trata de cuatro personas y su brusco e inesperado encuentro con la fragilidad de la vida y, sobre todo, con la fuerza del amor.
Cecilie (Sonja Richter) y Joachim (Nikolaj Lie Kaas) son jóvenes y están enamorados. Piensan casarse pronto y tienen toda la vida por delante; pero, de repente, todo se tuerce.
Las cosas no sólo cambian para Cecilie y para Joachim, sino también para Marie (Paprika Steen) y para Niels (Mads Mikkelsen), que andan cerca de la cuarentena, están felizmente casados y tienen tres hijos, pero su matrimonio debe pasar una dura prueba cuando Niels se enamora apasionadamente de Cecilie.

De repente te topas con una persona con la que no esperas toparte y te sorprende.
Pasan los meses y cada día te sorprende más.
Son esas personas con las que no te hubieras encontrado de ninguna manera , más que a traves de una casualidad.
Gracias Sandra, por todos los infinitos detalles. No se trata de los bombones, ni de este colgant (colgante-camara! :) )... se trata de echas a correr cuando sabes que me entra bajoncillo de verme cojita.
Se trata simplemente de tu manera de estar ahi y compartir como lo hacemos a diario.

Are you ready to stand before God if you died today?
The Bible declares that one day you will die and then stand face to face with God to be judged. Hebrews 9:27 reads, “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” Nothing in your entire life could be more important than being ready for that day, because it will determine whether you will spend eternity in heaven or in hell.
This judgment will be based on a person’s righteousness, which means to be absolutely perfect and without sin. The Bible says in Acts 17:31, “He hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained…” The man spoken of in this verse is Jesus Christ. This means that your righteousness must match that of Jesus Christ. Can you make it through your entire life without committing one single sin? Jesus Christ did, and He is the one that you will be compared with at your judgment.
On the cross, Jesus took your sin upon Himself. He died a death that you deserve to die and paid the debt that you owe to God. He paid it in full. But you must place your faith and trust in Him if you want to take advantage of that great gift and be free from sin and the punishment of sin forever. Here is how you can do that today.
First, accept the fact that you are a sinner, and that you have broken God’s law. The Bible says in Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”
Second, accept the fact that there is a penalty for sin. The Bible states in Romans 6:23: “For the wages of sin is death…”
Third, accept the fact that you are on the road to hell. Jesus Christ said in Matthew 10:28: “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Also, the Bible states in Revelation 21:8: “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”
Now that is bad news, but here’s the good news. Jesus Christ said in John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Jesus Christ: fully-God and fully-man, without sin, died on the cross a death that he did not deserve in your place. Three days later he rose from the dead defeating sin, death, and the devil forever.
Romans 10:9 & 13 says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved… For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
God requires you to repent of your sin (a change of mind toward God, sin, and self) and put your faith in Jesus Christ alone.
Realize your good deeds will not save you.. that is what religion teaches; the outward appearance. God looks on the heart.
..for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.

Quando de repente...
Rosalie: "Ah Emmett, Emmett..."
Emmett: "Qual o problema, meu amor?"
Rosalie: "Me... Me desculpa! Você é o melhor namorado do mundo, mas eu PRECISO de uma coisa... Querido, só você pode me dar..."
Emmett: "Fala, meu amor. Eu te daria qualquer coisa."
Rosalie: "Por que você nunca fica assim comigo? Por que tem que ficar sempre certinho e empacotado, sempre com essa gravata?"
Emmett: "Qual o problema? Eu posso tirar se você preferir assim..."
So how was my Fri night, well... I learned a little more about myself,
some very good examples and ideas of how to become a one instead of
one half looking for another to make a whole. relationships are not
additive (1 + 1 = 2) they are multiplicative ( 1 X 1 = 1). Marrige is
where 2 people become one.
So anything less than both people being their own fulfilled "1" first,
results in a less than happy relationship.
Well, I want to get back to one too.
Its been months (keys trip 07.) this week being able to fight my
addiction during some very trying times proved to be fruitful once
again. I remember the last episode where this happened.
(flashback Sept 05, I was over by SM airport doing something I
shouldn't)
I had just met Shari for the first time. Awestruck really, quite an
exuberant girl. What the heck was she doing with this guy, oh well
she is taken, we could only be friends, gosh she is.... Great. (I
would normally use awesome, but if Shari read me describing her as
awesome it would trigger the mistake I made with Jenny and I've
already said too much.) I had been at the height of a 9 month binge
triggered by an unhappy split up with Rhianon. During that period I
lied to Joel, felt depressed more than ever, quit/lost my job. Pissed
Matt, Clarke, Manish, Joel, Hammy off.
Another binge nearly a year later that lasted about 6 months which
ended when I decided to help Shari with her initial back injury.
Now, even more things hang in the balance, a precious relationship
with a precious, beautiful, adapting, intellectual woman I love more
than anything. The rest is poultry in comparison so I'll save the
details. Anyhow, ive climbed out of another hole and now I need to
learn, feel pain and make amends. Oh, and there is no guarantee. She
may at any moment decide I'm not for her anymore finally and
absolutley. The shoe may also be on the other foot, but I feel that
my love has the patience and my mind has the brilliance, and my faith
has all the cards and i'm waiting for the flop while I make my bet
(actions.)
It will be worth changing, one week down. G'night.
Shari is much more than I could describe in words or short sonnet.
There are times when I can remember her and I being full of life
(driving to the desert that morning) even in times of peril. Now I've
made so many mistakes... There are so many molds to break starting
with my own.
I lost hope, let go and tried to burry my head in the sand
(addiction) until the storm stopped, it grew worse. Love is constant
and consistent, I feel love, but I do not know it.
well, its bed time. Been reading Sharis blog since roscoe and I
got back from the dog park.

Llegaste así, de repente... y en un rush cambiaste mi mundo... Creí que nunca podría entrar en tu cabeza, que yo no era lo suficientemente linda como las mujeres que te rodean... Jamás imaginé que un día voltearias a mirarme...

one of the strangest places i've ever been. despite that, even the aethiest in me couldn't keep me away. and while i believe this man must be totally nuts, he impresses me to no end. so few people have this much conviction and passion. it is truly inspiring in that sense.
There is a condom in the upper left corner of this picture. “Office” is written in the tiles of a boarded up doorway of an old building. On the boarded up doorway is written “Harlots Repent”. The old building is right next do a theater that has been converted to a church.

2019 Memorial Day Parade in Downtown Beloit. Started in South Beloit and ended at Beloit's Horace White Park.
This year I walked from the Confluence and met the rest of the Beloit City Council near the state line. Because someone was wearing my city council shirt, I rode in the car which enabled me to easily take photos of people in the crowd. Neat!
