I wish I was that cherry right now... it's sticky hot over here! And it's almost 10 PM (that's pretty late for me lol)... but there was so little juice left in my camera battery, I wanted to waste them before recharging. Not such a waste I guess. :)
Constructive criticism?

Best cafes in Kazimierz
Need a refreshing dose of caffeine? Looking for an atmospheric place? Cafes in Kazimierz are the perfect place for that! Kazimierz is a historical district of Kraków and Kraków Old Town, Poland. Since its inception in the fourteenth century to the early nineteenth century, Kazimierz has been an independent city, a royal city of the Crown of the Polish Kingdom, a location south of the Old Town of Kraków, separated from it by a branch of the Vistula river. For many centuries, Kazimierz was a place of coexistence and interpenetration of ethnic Polish and Jewish cultures. Its northeastern part of the district was historic Jewish, and its inhabitants were forcibly relocated by the German occupying forces into the Krakow ghetto just across the river in Podgórze in 1941. Today Kazimierz is one of the major tourist attractions of Krakow and an important center of cultural life of the city.
After the Second World War, devoid of Jews, Kazimierz was neglected by the communist authorities. However, since 1988, now a popular annual Jewish Cultural Festival has drawn Cracovians back to the heart of the Oppidum and re-introduced Jewish culture to a generation of Poles who have grown up without Poland's historic Jewish community. In 1993, Steven Spielberg shot his film Schindler's List largely in Kazimierz (in spite of the fact that very little of the action historically took place there) and this drew international attention to Kazimierz. The Huai Mae Khamin Waterfall is one of the most beautiful places in Kanchanaburi. Huai Mae Khamin has been a popular destination for locals, particularly during the rainy season. One of the attractions is the tall limestone walls and dense forest that surround the area. The Huai Mae Khamin Waterfall is a moderate-sized limestone waterfall. It has seven levels. Visitors here feel at peace while watching the clear water fall down the steps of each level. Because this is a limestone waterfall, the area surrounding it is not slippery and doesn’t support algae. The most stunning level is the fourth, called Chat Chat Kaco. The length from the ground to the top most level is about 2.2 kilometers, so it would be a challenge for those who would want to climb up from the ground to the top of this waterfall. It would take about 3 hours for this journey. However, the beginning point of the waterfall is not from the first level, but the fourth one, which is from the park. In the area of the park, not so far from the waterfall, there is a tent area for visitors to take some rest. This area is also a good place to see view of Srinakarin Dam.
The Huai Mae Khamin Waterfall, in the mountainous Khuan Si Nakharin National Park, is located in Amphone Sai Yok and Amphoe Thong Pha Phum in the province of Kanchanaburi - Thailand. The waterfall itself is located near the National Park Office. One of the attractions is the tall limestone walls and dense forest that surround the area. The water cascades over an ochre-stained limestone rock face, earning the falls the Thai name “Huai Khamin” or “Turmeric Stream”. The little-visited falls have formed deep pools that are ideal for swimming. Kanitha and Samantha are enjoying the cool refreshing falls. The surroundings are very peaceful with dense jungles and occasional sightings of elephants and other wildlife.
“To find the universal elements enough, to find the air and the water exhilarating; to be refreshed by a morning walk or an evening saunter; to be thrilled by the stars at night; to be elated over a bird’s nest or a wildflower in spring—these are some of the rewards of the simple life.”—John Burroughs

After the holiday season comes to an end, it's tempting to start your day with all the sweets that have somehow overtaken the house. Chocolates and cookies sound like a delicious way to start your day, but if you're like me, you just know that sugar crash will sneak up on you in no time.
So I resisted the treats (for a bit) and had myself a healthy and delicious breakfast; it was a good choice as I spent a few hours outside chipping away at ice and shoveling some of the mess that fell last night while we were sleeping.
A busy but productive start to the new year. Can't complain too much about that, now can we?
Hope you've all had a great day.
