Massive 7X7 Bull Elk take a well deserved water break in the Gardner River from his exhausting annual rutting duties.

In the grounds of the Church of St Maria, built on the central escarpment in the horseshoe carved by the Raut River is this pump, supplying water from the well below. A brass cup is provided to refresh the weary traveller, so we had to try some and although a little on the warm side, it was still very refreshing.
